If one thing is for sure - looking at this clip, it's that Mourinho has big ambitions and pretty big asks of his next employer, so unless we're going for a rolling monthly contract, Levy must be giving some pretty cast iron assurances on spending.

Go to 6m18s. He also talks about Poch shortly after.

The whole thing is worth a watch if you've got the time.

He's totally won me over as a pundit. And he sounds extremely motivated for his next role, not the first interview where it sounded like he really still had a point to prove.

EDIT: Just ended up rewatching that whole video (saw it months ago already)...it's hard to watch that and not want him in.

Totally agree. There’s almost a slight dig at Pochettino’s losers mentality in there isn’t there? He doesn’t want to say it, but you can tell that’s what Mourinho means.

You're not seriously comparing Mourinho with Graham are you??

Successful record, but a bit in the past and tastes strongly of our rivals.

He might be a logical hire, he might bring success, but we'll never love him.

Does that matter... That's another question.

One of the few pieces of ITK I’ve ever got, and posted on here in September 2017, was that Kane would never leave us if we matched his ambitions, however if that wasn’t the case he’d like either of the big Spanish two OR the only other English club he would ever consider would be Man Utd but it would never happen as long as Mourinho was in charge as he had no interest at all in playing under him.

Undoubtedly, that opinion can of course and has of course most likely changed, but it’s an interesting wrinkle to note. One would think Kane would definitely have had his opinion sought by Levy et al whilst negotiations were going on

Interesting. Wonder what Kane’s grudge with Jose was all about.

How can anyone not be impressed. Can’t believe we’re actually going to have José Mourinho as our manager. Genuinely one of the best managers in the world. A serial trophy winner.
With this appointment our club is showing true intent, true ambition.
We all want to get to the next level, we now have a manager who can take us there. COYS
