Don't like him as a person but that won't stop me getting behind him.

Hope he can rediscover his mojo. Pretty mad he's taking over us.

He's refreshed and motivated I reckon.

The respect he commands amongst players is insane. They'll all feel ten feet taller.

He's tactically very good, exceptionally experienced on the biggest stage/games and above all is a serial winner.

A real chance for us to hit the next level.

Welcome Jose.
This 1000%. Were lucky if he’s interested in coming to us but he’s also lucky that this opportunity has come about, not many better jobs to take with the squad and infrastructure we have and I think we’ll now start to see us spending more and more on players and wages, we just have to as revenues go up and up.

I wouldn’t go to bed yet. I’m sure we announced Redknapp at near to midnight when he came in.

The fact Jose appointed his backroom team and started working with them, presumably at his own expense, before he’d even found a job anywhere tells you everything about what an absolute badass he is.

He’s burned by his “failure” at Manchester United where he only won three trophies and finished 2nd. The bastard’s coming to slay and I’m here for it.
Haha this I’m fucking buzzing for it if so. Been wanting him to be our manager for the past 15 years! Levy has tried 3 times before, Jose said as much in his book. The starts have now aligned. A refreshed Jose could be incredible. Fans will ridicule but will secretly be shitting themselves that he could be amazing again or that god forbid he actually could win something for us if we have him a few players and a few years.

That’s the spirit. Hope you’re more positive at games and get behind the team.
I always get behind the team and I will support any manager we have even if it's Mourinho. But I just said it as I see it. I'm not like some who don't see him for what he is and I just think he will upset to many players who will want to leave next year. A serial winner in the past he is but I believe those days are gone.

We’ve been championing the cause for what seemed like ages. Poch sacked Mourinho in. It’s like Levy read my posts!

I can't WAIT to see Kane playing in a Mourinho team - he's pretty much Jose's dream type of striker, and I think he'll get Kane back on the road to playing like his 2017 best again.

Nice to be excited again tbh. Sad for poch but we move on and Jose will be box office if nothing else.

I don’t think we planned to, but Harry was already on the phone to Sky Sports News announcing it live on TV himself so we didn’t have much choice

I’d sell my soul gladly for a few trophies fed up of being soft nice guy 2nd bests
He has to win something big or get consistent Top 4 football after this season. That's the minimum we've set now after sacking Poch, and really it was the minimum since we sacked Harry. The fact that he nearly always leaves clubs much worse off worries me, and if we don't win anything we're highly likely to be in a worse situation in a few years time than we are now.

Jose is used to getting hundreds of millions to spend at all the other clubs he was at, will Levy give him that kind of money to spend at Spurs? will he fuck.
Makes sense that Jose will sign for us knowing Levy won't give him what he wants - Levy ain't foolish to fuck around, knowing full well Jose will just sit there and take the shit without causing it himself.

Completely agree.
So ready for Mourinho...which is exactly why I'm expecting this to all somehow fall through tomorrow morning (y)

I agree with this, he will build the team to feed Kane. It could be great. Honestly I think it's the best possible appointment we could make at the moment.

Did he it say a couple of months back he was going to do things differently next time round?

I'm no fan of his but let's be honest he wins stuff, and the players right now need some of that around the place.

If he can get our big boys back to their best we still have a very good side and there is no way in a million years he will be coming unless he knows he's got some spends in January. I've no doubt the first thing he would address is the fullback and DM situation
