Yeah it was a real worry, not to mention when their Chelsea loanee (forgot his name) was free on the left and Aurier was in the middle of the pitch. To me Aurier is just a mistake waiting to happen. I'm fine with him filling in when needed I guess but I just don't trust the guy.

I like Davies but I'm not gonna lie, I still much prefer Rose. I just find Davies a little tame.

Don’t trust Aurier like yourself, I also think Rose is better than Davies, or should I say, the Rose of two seasons ago. Unfortunately I don’t think we’ll see that Rose on a football pitch again, certainly not at Tottenham.

Happy with the win. It gives the players another week to get up to speed. I would imagine that Fulham at Wembley will be fairly similar.

There is a nice 9 day gap between the Fulham and Manchester United games too. Hopefully that gap will give us a chance of being able to compete successfully with Man Utd.

Based on Leicester competing with United on Friday, I think we’ll give them a game.

I think we really need to beat Man U (definitely not lose anyway) away this season to put down a psychological marker for both teams.

We’re more than capable. My only worry is Pogba against Dier and Sissoko. We need Dembele to play that game and put in a monster performance, then the rest will fall in to place. Without that from a Dembele, I think we’ll struggle.

Pogba always shits all over Dembele though. I don’t think it makes much difference.

We beat them at the beggining of the year 2-0 with Dembele making Pogba look like he'd won a make-a-wish competition. Not sure where you've got that from?

The FA cup and World Cup semis. Dembele was atrocious in both. Pogba bossed him. Needs to improve.

The away fixtures, the fa cup
Semi etc etc etc

More times than often. I’m amazed at people’s memories

I agree. It was amazing the difference when Dembele came on yesterday. We were rocking but as soon as he came on it all calmed down.

As for the comment from someone else about how Pogba always shit on Dembele when they play, what a load of nonsense. How many times have they faced each other?

You said "every time" when you actually meant "on occasion". I'm amazed at people's inability to write what they mean.

80% of the time then if you’re being unnecessarily pedantic (and wrong).

Dembele gave the ball away for their first goal in the semi final, which was the last time we played them. Pretty easy to remember the last time we played them.

Well I am being a pedant and if you're trying to appease my pedantic nature then at least pay attention to the percentages, 80% would equal 4 out of 5 times, right? 2 occasions out of 4 last season would be 50%, no? Or are you going to provide other examples of previous meetings. If not then just admit Pogba doesn't shit on Dembele EVERY time they play, as you expressed in your initial post.
