He's an embarassment when he rolls around like that.
They all are. Sick to death of watching pussy overpaid footballers rolling around on the ground like shot when a hair gets knocked out of place. VAR should review all those doing it and book them.

It is a blight on the world game and bloody embarrassing. Commentators should call them out and humiliate the pricks.

Rant over 🤣🤣🤣

We lack a real quality first choice in the middle. Particularly someone who is willing to do the dirty work and protect the back four.

The defense seems to be pretty porous without that protection.

I like Maddison but he seems to want too much time on the ball. Needs to play with more urgency.
Another in a long line of Spurs players who do well when the team is doing well and go missing when they aren't.

Our defending at times has been shit. Isak is good at holding on to the ball, but there was a moment there where there were 3 Spurs players around him and all of them were too scared to put a challenge in.

We really do miss some very deep, deep self belief that were going to put the ball in the back of the net regularly.
The more games we play like this, lots of possession but no incisiveness in the box….the more everyone gets drawn into a belief system that it’s hard to score goals.

Theres a danger that the youngsters get pulled in too.
The one thing Kane guaranteed was KILLER INSTINCT.
And that self belief rubbed off on Sonny and others around him.

Pass, pass, pass, isolate a winger or full back. Pause. Pass backwards. Repeat.

Not seeing much progress from last season.

I still believe, but regardless.

Doing well to control the game but they're well organised and we're only creating half chances at best. As always - we look vulnerable on the counter and at corners.

Don't see us getting anything from this one unless we find a moment of magic from somewhere - too many players looking sloppy in the final third as it stands.

Frustrating.

Dealt well with their early pressure.
Then got to grips with it and but on some excellent pressure ourselves.

Unfortunately we switch off and allow them to gain control/spirit.

Since then we haven't been able to work and shots.

This is why we HAD to sign a winger/attacking midfielder for NOW.

Odobert is going to drift in and out.
Johnson won't do much against a compact defence who are focused on keeping it level.
Maddison will fade after 70mins as always.
Deki is doing a tireless job out there and will get tired.
Yeah, if we put Johnson on for Odobert, the game will just fizzle out.

I still don’t understand why we never do a quick switch of play, always insistent on going down one side, then when it doesn’t work, it’s a slow rotation.

Not enjoyed this - all too familiar. Teams just slice through us like butter when we're away from home, all too predictable.

Actually I think we played well for the majority of the half, just no focal point up front.

I can see Johnson coming on for Odebert as the first sub.

1 shot on target and 1 goal for them. We've been by far the better team. Confident for the 2nd half.

He's obviously trying to bait a press. Newcastle have played most of the game with 10 men in the box and hitting it long over the top

Weird game to pick on Son. Been decent
Agreed. I've been a harsh critic of Son over the past year or so, think his level has generally dropped quite a bit from his peak, but he's been our best attacking option today by a distance.

Thought it was pretty poor. Loads of the ball., didnt really do anything with it. Constantly going to the wing when it isnt working, there has to be another way

We need to show a lot of heart to get back into it, havent seen much of it so far
