Although I do like that not even the PL know what the hell is wrong with Richi.

Right, but literally no one has said that we're the only club to have injuries.
Maybe not, but the whinging has been pretty strong about this specific injury. All teams have them, it's why we have a squad.

I'm rarely confident when we play against Newcastle and with how open we are this can go either way, but I expect us to cause their back line plenty of problems.

It just lacks CB/LB cover mostly and another top attacker due to Richy never being fit.

It’s better and deeper than last season.

For now Davies will cover LCB 4th CB and Spence likely LB.

Not ideal but we might be ok to get by.
I reckon Gray plays more at centre back than Davies. He's just going to have the legs for a higher line. Plus we have plenty of depth in central midfield. I think Davies is going to be largely left back cover.

To be fair they have absolutely annihilated us in recent times. I’m pretty sure they would do the same for us had it been reversed.

Anyway, law of averages n all that, think it will be a much closer game today.
Fair point, just hoping we beat them and the smiles are wiped off the pundits faces

All our fans who have gone up there are brave, after two beatings the last two seasons.
Kudos to them.

Seeing those ranked masses of Geordie fans at SJP, I always think: Where were you when you were shit?

We did well at home last season but SJP definitely hasn’t always been a happy hunting ground.
