Living to far away is the reason i havent renewed my membership. Cant see why i cant use my free membership to buy a ticket on the exchange system. I suppose its more money in the clubs Coffers if they force people to buy memberships.

I got tickets to the NFL at the new stadium so I'll see it then.

Exchange tickets for Newcastle did go on general sale a few days before the game , expect Palace will be the same.

Bayern will be sold out , other two games not so sure .
Other teams don't always sell out CL games. Liverpool got 55000 for Barcelona but their other CL games last season all about 3000 lower.
All CL are on tv , do you part with up to £100 for a seat or go down the pub?

Agreed.

There's no chance LFC haven't sold out those games.

Well I'd love to go but I just can't justify another £175 on 3 games on top of a £1200 ST.

Only going by official attendances shown e.g
PSG : 52,478 , Barcelona : 55,212
Possibly it was hospitality seats not filled, it's like at Spurs on the 4th level east stand there are executive boxes that I can see from my seat and those seats have never yet been fully occupied for any match at the new stadium.

Shame really, if they were normal tickets (still not cheap) in the south stand, they'd be sold every game.....

Very surprising that Palace game has not gone on general sale yet, loads of seats available on TE.
Should make the beer queues a little shorter but with approx 135000 members you would think that a London derby would sell out.

Got some back row seats in the south stand on TE a few weeks back thinking there wouldn't be many coming up.. Turns out the south stand now has a nasty case of chicken pox so I'll be hoping it doesn't go on on GS and I have my pick of seats on Saturday! (y)

Crazy it hasn't gone on GS and the prices are too high. The club will need to open in gen sale for most fixtures otherwise they will have a real attendance issue

I was waiting for them to go on GS but its to late to organise anything now if they do become available.

Even though there a few blue dotted seats showing up on TE the vast majority are red ringed so are ST seats that are up for re-sale, so of course the club already has the money for those seats , in financial terms the game is a sell out but when the actual attendance is released probably be in the high 50000's so will probably be a two or three thousand below full capacity.

Really not that much incentive for the club to put it on general sale. They don't directly make anything extra from an ST holder selling it on the exchange, so it just comes down to whether the benefits (better food/drink/shop sales, higher attendance figure to report, happier ST holder) outweigh the cost (substantially less incentive to buy a membership). Certainly not a clear or easy decision commercially I reckon

They actually do make money, the club, firstly, could be a concession seat which is resold at full price plus a £4/50p booking fee for all resales.

You would assume that the some of the booking fee must go to ticketmaster who run the eticketing system and not to Spurs but not putting TE on general sale does limit the chances of a ST holder getting their money back for a game they are not attending. Seeing as so many ST seats are available for Palace game seems odd it's still limited to members only when the demand from members is not there.. Of course with CL games being available to purchase soon looks like there is not enough money to attend all the games

It's great to see.

whilst i agree with this, it's a sad state of affairs when you're pinning all your hopes on a home game in the haribo cup coming up because they won't be as extortionate as the league games and you may be able to bring someone along with you who doesn't have a membership

£65 for Bayern does sting a little bit especially when you remember they've taken away all free cup games. Thank fuck the other group games are Cat C!

75 nicker for my ticket. Going to purchase and sacrifice one of the Cat A's as a result.
