The problem with the stadium is, if you are all in and the person in the middle of the row wants to get out for a piss.
I would guess there will empty seats but people dotted around in the same row if it's 31k

Maybe they'll require everyone to wear adult nappies.

This is typical Levy. From a cold, logical perspective where everyone else is also cold and logical, it adds up. It provides the biggest initial revenue boost (during a transfer window where we're still chasing signings), it is most likely to actually get approval as an initial trial, and it may mean we get 100% capacity approved in these areas meaning more seats available for everyone else since it wouldn't come out of a "quota" at 30% or 50% of the rest of the ground. But people are not cold and logical, the optics are so terrible as to outweigh the positives, and it would frankly be extremely annoying in combination with how much we're expected to pay for our 'normal' seats. He's a very smart man, but he's also totally out of touch.

The maximum stadium seating capacity has been increased through a series of non-material amendments from the original capacity of 61,461 to 62,303. The last application (HGY/2019/3178) being approved on 17 December 2019. There has been no increase in floorspace. This final application for a non-material amendment seeks to increase the capacity to 62,850, an increase of 547. The additional seats are to be located in the Lower, Mid and Upper Tiers and in the South Stand. The additional seats can be accommodated through minor modifications to the south west and south east tunnels; the insertion of seats in areas such as the lateral gangway in front of the media tribune; through reconfigured access points and the introduction of some demountable terracing to allow greater flexibility between wheelchair platform and standard seating configurations.

Thanks for posting! Genuinely been sad enough to be googling what had been done about this many a time over lockdown. Great news to have so many more seats in the South Stand

The plans they post make me chuckle, literally a scribble of red. Wish the club would release some detailed images of how they've added the new seats in. I'd be fascinated to see for sure!

Hopefully they've stuck more seats in on the top row, too much standing space which the stewards just get pathetic about when a group congregate there

Good thinking by Levy. Get the highest paying fans in to bring the most cash in possible. My seat won’t make us as much money ?

I can’t read the article but do we know if these are the tickets they will offer ST holders in a ballot or just corporate holders?

I’ve just had an email saying they are going to request we send them photo ID in the near future if we want to be entered into a ballot.

I wonder if there will be naming rights. We’re now on the 2nd full season in and it doesnt even seem in the pipeline. Maybe they’ll consider renaming it White Hart Lane in the future?

Think they want a sale. New owners come in with their own naming rights. Huge way of getting roung ffp.

I dunno. Not sure i care anymore.

In case you didn't notice it's not really a good market for naming rights right now...

Would appear to read that this is our maximum seating capacity without going through an arduous new permitting process.

Say what you want about him, but Daniel Levy is Spurs through and through.

Love this club.

I wonder what is the maximum seating capacity of the current structure?

We’ve marginally increased capacity a few times already and this latest one reads like its making material changes to tunnels and access points to add. So while id like to see us hit between 63-65k, i think we might be maxed out.

Someone has been doing their Spurs Community research:

Would love to see THFC provide an in depth update / graphics on where the new seats will be. Maybe the lockdown has made me a tad sad but I'd find it fascinating! They certainly need to add more seats on the top row in the corner to stop people congregating/standing and save all those stewards the long walk up :ROFLMAO:
