how many years to pay off the new stadium does anyone know? just curious I think it cost around 1B?
I don’t think it’s a question that can be answered. There isn’t a single fixed interest mortgage with a term end date. They will be refinancing periodically, depending on market conditions, new capital projects and unforeseeable factors like losing a quarter of a season to a pandemic.

If there are no crowds allowed, it would be cheaper to do it over hackney marshes.
Or maybe it's because we might have the facilities to actually have a crowd, unlike any suitable venue in Cardiff? Who knows...

Club have been contacted today about the welsh rugby union using our stadium for six nations games and autumn internationals.
Given the utter mess some of US states have made of the Covid-19 crisis I wonder whether any of the NFL teams are looking at our set up with envy? Shame more couldn’t use it if the NFL season gets up and running this season

Even assuming we do re-open, I reckon there could be some properly low attendances next season. December 2020; Tottenham, already qualified as winners of our Europa League group, at home to Dynamo Azkaban; our 4th home midweek game in six weeks; 6pm on a Thursday evening. Might be a good chance for those who sometimes struggle to get or afford tickets, or for the rest of us to rack up some loyalty points!

It will be interesting to see the rate of non-renewal of season tickets. I'm in two minds. If I give them up, I'll never get them back. But we've been shielding since March and, just as we thought we might get back toward normal life, the UK has loosened (ended) lockdown at least 2 months too early for people like us, still with 10 times too many new cases, and we realise we're going to be living like this well into next year.

So what do I do? Renew the STs and hope I can sell the tickets one by one on the ticket exchange until we can attend relatively safely? That would rely upon demand being greater than supply, which will not be so if many people do as I do.

Or not renew them and hope I can get to see some one-off matches again, someday? It's not the same when you buy tickets for individual matches. You don't get the routine, the match day excitement, the ritual walk to your seat and the same faces every fortnight.

I think I just convinced myself...

Really really hope things start looking up for you :( And fingers crossed the club puts some provision in place for those vulnerable/shielding/living with someone who is etc to be able to take a 'gap year' from their STs if they want to, it'd seem completely fair and reasonable in the circumstances
