You really think levy would get away with having a separate company and taking £20-30m out the club every season. The stadium is owned by the club any money made by the stadium goes into the club.

Well, I thought the Sainsbury’s rent went into the club but it doesn’t. I hope it does go back into the club but let’s see.

Sainsbury's cash-flowed the construction of Phase 1 of the NDP. Any lease agreement between THFC and Sainsbury's would have taken that into account and it wouldn't surprise me if there is no rent per se passing between the parties.

It's a bit like a mega-version of a developer letting a retail unit in a new development as a shell-and-core, for the incoming lessee to fit out at their expense, in exchange for a year or more rent-free.

Yeah exactly. Didn't the club receive an £11m or so payment for the sainsburies development to help fund the stadium early on? Rather than regular smaller rental payments.

I don't know the figures, but I agree that a one-off capital premium would be more likely than a periodical rent, in an agreement where Sainsbury's were investing their own capital into the project.

There are numerous accounts now on twitter that go over club accounts in great detail. If there’s anything shady it will certainly be highlighted.

If there's anything truly shady, it won't be in the accounts!

Who has suggested anything shady? And what?

Any idea what the capacity would be if safe standing is introduced?
I don't think it would change, certainly not initially, as it will still be matched to a seat. The reality at the moment seems to be that the club is not making it fuss about standing in the safe areas now, they even have stewards checking tickets as you go through the numbered gate to stop fans from upstairs coming down to stand in that area rather than making people sit down.

I think the ratio is 1:1.5 But each person still needs a seat.

The same. Safe standing means you have a rail in front but still a seat so capacity is the same and people are not squeezed in. Where I sit is in a designated safe standing area and the space is pretty good. When sitting the barrier is great to lean over on as well!

Do,you think the seats used and the spacious areas could be utilised better with seats not a sign wide meaning a few extra bodies here and there? Could be possible we don't need those bigger seats if it's going to be constantly seen as an area people stand

Hopefully when safe standing comes into the PL, I'm sure it will be a 1:1 ratio.

But in Germany they have a 1.5:1 ratio. So it could be increased in the PL let it

Thanks for that didn't realise it's essentially the same capacity. Be amazing to stand again for matches, have watched loads of internationals while standing and it's much better than sitting IMO
