In the end a very decent attendance of 51,743 which in the view of recent performances has to be regarded as very good. Persuaded me to now buy my Olympiacos ticket how many more will change their minds.

Yeah I bought my regular season ticket seat as it was still available last night when I got home. Although I’m now thinking I should of tried sitting somewhere else in the ground. Really enjoying the south lower though.

I might finally get to the stadium now my Dads broken ankle has healed, his new knee is almost healed and his bladder infection has cleared up. Was worried he may not get to see it all at one point as he wasnt eating or sleeping. Not a good combination in a human. Thankfully he's ok now so can start making plans provided Poch doesnt change everything this weekend. I'm not dragging my Dad to a shit show.

after only beating Liverpool 5 times in 107 years, don't base attending on Sundays result.

I took my sister the other night, think its the 1st game she has attended in over 40yrs and she loved the new stadium and the result

No I wont. I used to go all the time pre Martin Jol so can take not winning lol.
Lack of effort on the other hand... (And AVBs football was hard to watch, painful even).
Plus I live in Suffolk so its not like 'ahh well I cant be bothered tonight.'
Its a major event lol. And an expensive one.
I used to go frequently when we had a local club set up and we all used to pile in mini bus but unfortunately the guy who ran the club had a horrific car accident and someone died. He didnt deal with that well, blamed himself I heard, and the club folded. Harry Redknapp joined about that time and I started going with my Dad. His first game at whl for over 30 years was the 9.1 drubbing of Wigan. It was fkin unbelievable. I'll always remember walking from the ground past a pub on High Rd and 2 old boys in their 80s came out and said 'what was the score?'
'9.1'
'Fark off, what was it'
'9.1!'
The other one pipes up 'what did he say?'
'9.1'
Both of them 'fu##in 'ell' lol.

Glad your dads much better now

When my dad was pretty fit and well he was joking that he might never get to visit the new ground. We watched all the Chris Cowling stadium update videos together...

Luckily I got him to the first test event and he sat in my ST seat in the South Stand before I finally got to

His first game at the old WHL was in 1942, had a ST for over 40 years and like all of us bled THFC

He passed away in August, the morning of the Man City game, (he’d have loved that ending!!) so it was a bloody good job I sorted out those test event tickets for him!

Managed to get his obituary printed in the Villa programme too, which was nice

Noises are getting louder on a London franchise. LA chargers now being mentioned as they are pretty much now a nomad club.

Be a good idea if we can get a successful winning team to play and fill the stadium :)
That's not the Chargers. Rivers will definitely retire if they move to London. Spanos is a horrific owner and that whole team will quickly turn into a dumpster fire.

What I know about NFL you could get on a pinhead, for example if kids go over the park to play NFL does someone need to bring a tape measure?

May hear something about an esports event next week. London Spitfire were linked with using the stadium and have announced a date for March 2020 in London but no venue yet. Tickets go on sale next week and feeling is it will be at the stadium.

Just announced that it's going to be at Wembley Arena & Birmingham (n)
