You are now on the death list.Levy actually selling the NFL commentary booth as a premium package with expert game analysis from a spurs legend for 6 people. £700 ahead for NLD incredible literally gonna bleed every penny out the stadium lol.
You are now on the death list.
But tbh I think it’s quite accepted now that literally can be used for emphasis and not to just describe something that is actually going to happen.
Literally on the death list or figuratively? You are now on the death list.
I think I’ve got a crush on you...Not. By. Me.
"They" as third person singular neuter pronoun is fine, because it adds something to the language that the culture is demanding.
"Literally" to mean its opposite adds nothing to the language. It takes away a clear meaning and substitutes confusion with "figuratively". There isn't another clear and economical way to say "actually, in real life, not metaphorically".
It's a rule I follow whenever there's a new meaning or a new word. If it adds meaning and clarity, it's good. If it reduces people's ability to express themselves clearly, I don't use it.
And then, of course, I send out my carefully-selected squad of masked grammar-superheroes (all of whom look exactly like me) to round up and execute all offenders. We generally prefer death by split infinitive.

Depends where you're going. WHL branch is closed so might be fewer people heading to Seven Sisters if you're getting the tube from there. But if you mean the trains back towards Liverpool Street then definitely stay as Tottenham Hale/Northumberland Park will be rammed.I'll be going there for the first time on Sunday, is it very much worth staying behind after the match for a while to avoid congestion in the tubes?
