So we probably made £5/6m from the U18 legends and the screening lol.

we never got any ticket sales from the U18's and Legends. the money taken from those events went to charities as your not allowed to profit from ticket sales on test events

Think that would of been a club pr decision rather than legislation.

Says who ? Never heard a single word that gate receipts went to charity and I’m sure we would have. Why on earth wouldn’t you be able to profit from a test event ?

it will be on here somewhere over the last 300 pages, but I remember reading it on this thread. I'll tag @davidmatzdorf if he can remember seeing it as I know he has most if not all of the last 2322pages

The ticket sales went to the Tottenham Foundation, concessions I'm unsure of (I'm guessing they covered their operating costs and that's it).

It's written somewhere; you can't profit for entry to test events (IIRC because the venue doesn't even have the full operating licenses at that point, so insurance etc haven't been signed) The tickets are only issued to make sure of function and control of numbers.

The announcement for the U18 and Legends test events say it right after the bits about the balloting for tickets to those games.

These will be ticketed events to test ticketing systems and card activations. Net proceeds will go to the Tottenham Hotspur Foundation.

Hopefully that will grow when the hotel is built.

It’s gonna take time but the simple fact is we all know what the place is like and the vast majority will give it glowing references. Even today’s event would never have been possible at the old WHL.

I have just caught a little half hour programme on BT sport I guess you may have seen it but I hadn't in fact I never heard of it but was called "Home again" and it was the story of the stadium about us coming home up to and including the first game against Palace. Silly old sod I am I have to admit there were tears. Just a heads up in case anybody wants to catch it they have it on again on Saturday night at 9:00 pm.

That's the one that was shown immediately before our match coverage on final night. Was a really nice programme & I too found it a bit of an emotional watch.

That's good I missed the beginning when it was on and would like to record it. Do you know which BT station it'll be on please.

what's HPE?

It’s a conference organised by HP with seminars, discussions and exhibitions to showcase their products to their big customers in Europe.

I went to one in Frankfurt in 2010 which lasted 3 days on behalf of the company I worked for.

There were thousands of delegates whose hotel accommodation was paid for by HP or their resellers.

For me, it was just a jolly to collect some nice pens and usb storage drives.
