I do similar. Victoria to Seven Sisters, then on way up I use WHL train and walk back to Seven Sisters after the game. That was for the two test events, though, so not sure how well WHL will cope on the way up with 60K people arriving.

I’m definitely walking down the high street from seven sisters tonight. I want to see the ground rise magnificently as I walk towards it.

I have a few choices on which route to take but as soon as I settle on one a different one looks a better option so I go for that one and then another one looks more appealing, I'm beginning to panic, I might just drive to the ground and work my way outwards looking for somewhere to park.
It's no good I'll just have to ask the wife what to do.

Even on the WHL train looking out the window, it is a special sight to behold. You don't appreciate just how big it is until you go yourself.

First tag at the end of the article is "#COYG"

Talksport said that although he is a goner that he's "not that kind of guy". Although to me it reads like a bitter rival fan looking for reasons why the stadium isn't going to move us up a level and that of course its only a matter of time until our players leave to get success. :finger:

Sky Sport News have been showing from a different perspective and features of the stadium which have never been posted on this or any other social media outlets. Very good watch so far

Interesting article here which makes for a bit of a depressing read. My only hope is that as it has been written by a Gooner then he is purposely painting a bleak picture to make him feel better.

What he mentions seems correct but he also doesn't acknowledge the extra revenue the stadium will generate not just through ticket sales but food & drink, the extra commercial revenue through an extension of our partnerships, new fans developing through a new image of the club etc.

We are well and trul behind the other 5 at the top of the heap at the moment no question but the new stadium doesn't just bring extra matchday revenue, it raises the clubs prestige and image, gives us a better identity, will draw new money from sponsors, fresh blood from new generations, increase our player quality it all goes hand in hand.

The NFL deal, the Saracens deal, eGaming, extreme sports, the U2 acoustic specialists making it tailor made for being the best music venue stadium in the country etc all of this adds revenue in places that other stadiums comparable doesn't. Those Rugby, eGaming, NFL fans not keen on football will probably start adopting us as their football clubs with how frequently they venture into Tottenham territory. The volume of fresh blood coming through the doors gives the club so much capacity to hook them in. Over the next 10 years we should see a big shift financially, it mostly depends on how well the team do on the pitch now as most of the infrastructure is in place to expand.

I didn’t find this very convincing at all. It showed that of the so-called “big six” we have the least revenue, which anyone could have told you to begin with.

But it didn’t show that the big 5 was any more of a coherent concept than the big six. I suspect you could make a very similar argument about a “big 5” if you compared Arsenal against the average of the other teams.

We are close without the stadium

£382m last accounts puts us close Chelsea, Arse (only £10m) and pool.

Add in the stadium, we are on our way to overtaking all three
