You also thought the stadium would be a third shorter and wouldn't believe the rest of us. The only part where the slope is fairly steep is behind the south goal. Nobody will be warming up there and the linesmen will not be running up and down it. Uefa and the fa have given it the ok.
Fucking hell, you have the memory of an elephant, let it go man! If I recall I argued that there would be three tiers while others said four, so am yet to proved incorrect!

There are 4 tiers.

But that wasn't your argument. We said the height of the stadium would be almost to the cabs of the cranes. You argued that. Then finaly gave in (i can quote).

You may be wrong again.

My thoughts on it were it should be open to the public on non match days, one it would generate income if not necessarily by selling frothy coffee but by keeping people in the area who fancy visiting just to see the stadium or pop along to the club shop.

Maybe there are other local cafes it would pinch business from or it's been proven by smarter people than I to not be viable for that.

I'm guessing local food outlets have been doing well out of the massive daily workforce for the last few years.

I just hope the people employed by the club love the place, take pride in it and are enthusiastic, polite & care about it, these are the things rub off onto the match/event goer and radiate to the surrounding area and keep people wanting to come back.

I’m pretty sure there will be a cafe in the shop that will be open all week.

People should stick to following Ally Gold instead of getting involved in this sensationalist nonsense. He’s pro-Spurs but he’ll tell it as it is and gives you every word of every press conference instead of the edited version to fit his own narrative.
Love his content but that site is the clunkiest and puts me off reading it most of the time

Worcester Avenue, 9 years ago and now.

I like the fact the glass is a little architectural nod to the old stadium. That must be by design. But on another note. Fuck me it’s a big old beast now. Love it.

Assuming of course we do play there in the QF's, how many tickets will we lose out of for the advertising hoardings for the CL? Will all those displaced behind the goal be moved to alternative places around the stadium? Should imagine it will be a couple of thousand at least.

Surely this was factored into the build.

From what I recall when we were all buying them last year, the front two rows of the South are physically seperated from the others (something to do with the conversion to NFL mode) and weren't sold as STs. I think these won't be available for CL games, but everywhere else should be okay. They certainly didn't warn anybody about it whereas they did warn North Stand people about being moved for cup games because of away allocations - so unless they didn't sell some rows elsewhere too?

the new stadium website is up.

Got to get in via airport style security gates at the top of the stairs (sounds safe, I can think how that could go wrong!) then underground type barriers where you scan your card yourself. Makes sense I guess.
