I'm a season ticket holder in level 5. It was lonely up there.
How does the joke go? So I was stood there at Stamford Bridge in the mid-1980s and the game wasn’t going well so I turned round to the fella next to me and said...
‘Oi, mate!’

Sorry @Shadydan . Maybe we’ll win the league cup now?

I do not see the point in doing that! we have waited this long we may as well just wait until that is 100% finished, you can see it now, we have an issue and the radios do not work!
I'm completely sure that there have been many football matches played when there are issues with the fire alarm systems at stadiums, & the club's will have put in place contingency procedures for operating in a way that covers the deficiencies in the fire alarm. We humans are better than fire alarms at detecting fires, we're just a lot more expensive to run.

There's nothing wrong with what Rose's saying. I prefer that to some automaton reading out a Donna Cullen crib sheet how Wembley's great and there's nothing to see here. Everyone knows it: it's time to go home.

Our lowest PL crowd at Wembley last season was around 53k. When you consider there was already a drop off last season I can’t see anyway we don’t sell out every PL game. We only have 9k to sell to members and that’s before general sale.

Completely agree, we have no incentive to go to the games, things could of been done very differently to try and fill out the 51K week in week out but the club have let the team down on this

I would have thought the incentive was to support the team , WHU have an appalling stadium, a terrible home record yet still turn up in numbers ( I know they charge less), fans who have not turned up at Wembley should go and look in a mirror to see who is responsible.

Hope those that have deserted Wembley and the team don't claim their cup final ticket if we manage to get to one.

Haven’t been keeping track here as it’s dragging on but heard this. Don’t know if it’s old or new news.

Safety systems still aren't 100% so the temporary workaround to get the safety certificate will be to place fire marshals at the necessary points in the stadium and they will raise the alarm via their radios.

I imagine it's much cheaper to pay the fire marshalls than it is to pay rent at Wembley!

They also have season tickets that cost £300 and a lot more affordable seats and for the majority of people it is much easier to get to especially an evening mid week game

I’ve missed two consecutive home games for the first time in 20 years. There’s no point in pretending there isn’t an issue. Fans are fed up.

yes but you missed them because it's helped financially, if they had said we was at Wembley for 2 seasons and you purchased your season ticket you would of been there last night, just like another 8k fans would of been

Oh do get off your high horse.

For all its failings (and I laugh at how many and how shit it is), the Olympic Stadium is WHU'S home for the next 99 years :)LOL::LOL:). Like it or lump it, if they want to see their team they have to go
Wembley isn't our home, and while we made a good attempt at making it such last year I don't think anyone can blame our supporters for not turning up on a wet Wednesday in December ( and the cash return for ST holders helps). Pricing does not help, many on here yesterday say they would have gone if they could have found tickets at a reasonable cost.

Its a soulless dump, I'm sure if we were there indefinitely then we would make a better fist of it, but I for one (and a lot of other people I know) won't be setting foot near the place again. Moneys tight at the moment, I only really go to games for the laugh with mates, and the last few times at Wembley its been depressing, and certainly not enjoyable.

Still support the team though and always will

WHU are playing at home and their ST prices are much lower than ours

Also they probably give away or sell loads of match day tickets at very cheap prices

If you dont go to West Ham anymore you have given up on them due to the move and not liking the new stadium and location

Nobody has given up on Tottenham yet or stopped supporting the club. We are just completely and utterly pissed off by the clubs handling of the whole situation and will not go to that ground anymore.

If it is a final or semi it was always going to be at Wembley which makes it a completely different event, proposition and circumstance

Fact is they’ve made it easy for me to say no by the uncertainty. I paid upfront at the start of the season, financially accepting a new season ticket. It’s only this uncertainty that has made me take a step back.

I did say they charge less probably why they have lower quality players. I don't quite get why Wembley is hard to get to though, it is served by three tube lines , London Overground and National Rail .
When they start closing the High Rd in Tottenham 2 hours before and up to one hour after a game we will see which is easier to get too and away from NWHL or Wembley with the same size crowd. .

it's also a lot easier to get home, but that's usually down to them being beaten so bad by half time they leave in big groups through out the match

Cheers mate.

Wait, what odd shit joke?

I'm sure I spotted 1 about 3 years ago, can't be bothered to find it now:cautious:

on your previous post, I was going by what you said somewhere that you was making Man C your last game for financial reasons. All I'm saying is if we had been told we was going to be at Wembley for 2 seasons a lot more would turn up because they would of paid for it and wouldn't get a refund.

what do you mean by the clubs handling? you make sound like it's only the fans that have been effected which is complete crap
