I do not see the point in doing that! we have waited this long we may as well just wait until that is 100% finished, you can see it now, we have an issue and the radios do not work!

I don't think the stadium is going to be 100% for a while now, there are definitely a few areas of the stadium that look a long way from being ready. So with that in mind I think it makes sense to get in as soon as safely possible to start building the atmosphere and helping the team as best we can.

It seems like we could take the money spent on Wembley rent (£1m per match?) and spend that on a whole tonne of fire marshalls and temporary safety systems for matches at the new stadium. It's probably not quite that simple in the real world, but definitely seems like a sensible option in the interim.

I’ve missed two consecutive home games for the first time in 20 years. There’s no point in pretending there isn’t an issue. Fans are fed up.
Completely agree, we have no incentive to go to the games, things could of been done very differently to try and fill out the 51K week in week out but the club have let the team down on this

We definately need to be in next month now, seems like we're starting to really get fed up with Wembley, Danny Rose is the latest to say that the team are getting to the point now where they don't want to be at Wembley any more, sooner we move the better.

I guess it would all depend on if they got the sign off for this, if they do then great but you know what they are like with HS

only 3k less than WHL its just because so many empty seats it makes it look a lot worse

If we were still at the Lane ,do we really think we would have had a bigger attendance than lastnite on a cold weds against the bottom team weeks before xmas?

No.....so why are we shocked with lastnites turnout with everything that is so shite about Wembley.

I think it was an expected crowd considering all factors.

Love him really, but does his everflowing fountain of self-righteous negativity not annoy you in the slightest?

Not really, he just says things without sugarcoating them, as I said before Hugo and Toby said the same thing already this season but they were just a bit more diplomatic with their words.

Yes. Last few years at the Lane we always sold out league games at 36k, nearly always before they even got to general sale. And at the new ground 50k people will have tickets through STs or premium/corporate season tickets before we sell a single one specifically for the game in question.

Why would you try and disguise or ignore the fact that maybe 95% of spurs fans do not like Wembley .
Lets be honest there is not enough toilets/if you want food or a drink you have to take out a mortgage on your house to afford it.
You are too far away from the pitch action and probably the most telling thing is the atmosphere a chant starts up on one side of the stadium and by the time the vibes meet the other side of the station a different chant has been made making it impossible to build up a genuine forceful atmosphere . And by the way getting there is bad enough but getting home is a nightmare and I have spent a big part of my daily life waiting for one and a half to two hours waiting to just get on a train to get home .The whole place is a no no but I go thru gritted teeth out of some kind of desire not to let the team down.

Telling the press exactly what they want to hear. Well done, Danny.

Whilst it probably would have been better to say nothing, he is right. We made a damn good attempt at making it our "home" last year, but lets just get the hell out of there as quickly as possible. It can't be much fun for them having to play in such an atmosphere sapping place with a shite pitch, any more than it is for us fans to go there.

Maybe say nothing if asked, but to be fair hes only saying what most of us are thinking

The thing is, it was a Wednesday night game against a bottom of the table club. I'm not surprised the turnout was bad last night. Once the new stadium has been around a while I expect this type of fixture to draw a small crowd there as well.
There were a lot of factors but with ST’s you have paid in advance for the fixture and are more ‘compelled’ to be there, as opposed to those who paid for the individual match and chose to be there last night. It’s no coincidence that Chelsea, City and all others have also been down. For these reasons we simply have to move home ASAP and it was this that I was referring to. I’m sure that if the club knew the extent of the disruption in advance then they would have done something else in terms of creative marketing.
