I've asked this as a joke before, but seriously - how do they get the cranes out of there? Do not understand construction, at all (obviously), but I struggle getting a sofa through a door, how the hell do these guys do it?
Cranes will break down into smaller pieces and either will leave via the exits at ground level or i suppose they could be lifted out by the cranes on the out side.

So that poster Bazza over on SSC who does a lot of the aerial shots over the stadium and has been involved in build in some way has hinted over there tonight that he’s heard that Levy has found a naming rights deal... Pinch of salt and all that.
Considering we have the stadium launch party in 6 weeks, I'd be shocked if that wasn't already sorted,

That's my feeling, a party like this to 'launch' the stadium actually means 'launch the stadium's identity' as far as I am concerned. There might be more/new imagery there of the final product, but apart from the name... what is there to launch?! It's not like it's about to take off and it certainly not launching the finished product unless we are planning on bending the laws of time and space to get it finished!

Levy has purchased a crane for a cut down price which is bigger than the stadium, which will lift the other cranes out from outside of the stadium, then he will sell it on all for a profit!!!

Once that last ring piece :)woot:) is up, can they then start raising the roof?
There's a lot of cables still laying in the middle of the pitch area that are related to the roof construction, so another week of two to install those and then the lift can start.

Random question, is the front of the west stand going to be a pedestrian only zone? Stadium is sitting pretty close to the road.

Edit. Looking at pictures, It seems not, but it looks pretty imposing!
