i'm really not that happy with how big a gap there is from the crowd to the pitch, i got so use to WHL being really close and i was guessing and it's looking like it that there will be quite some gap now like all modern stadiums.
Glad to see some giving me a WTF , i assume those would like a much larger gap between the fans and the pitch. If so there's an olympic stadium with a shit team filling it that you could watch ;)

I dont think the distance is too bad at all actually overall. If you used the 18yard boxy as a guide and visually flipped it over you would see that a tad more that half the stand behind the goal is covered within that distance...id say thats good going for a stsdium this size!
The acoustics of the ground are much more of an importance.
I wonder what the furthest seat at the library are like compared to this?

It is almost the same from the top row of our south stand to the far corner post as at the Death Star, meow ever, our other 3 stands are much closer.

So thus new stadium is fully sprinklered... now apart from the obvious... what is the fuss? Why highlight it as a particular attribute of the stadium?

It means you can have higer spec materials and furnishings in the inside of the stadium than say in the Death Star which isn't fully sprinklered etc

It is a part of the school. Most schools seem to have them these days. *Where I seem to live anyway... :D

You're right, most schools do seem to have them these days, but that pitch was being used in the evenings when I was last living up in Seven Sisters, which was back in 1993 (ish).

Are you certain it's part of the school ?

Just an idea, but maybe 100 non playing players, coaches & staff from 2 NFL teams would struggle to stand/sit on the sidelines at WHL ? Not being smart, just an honest observation.
