New signings in 2018/19 reviewed

So I thought I’d start a thread on other clubs’ signings for the season just gone.

Who impressed you, who was a flop and who should we have potentially signed from this bunch?

I’ll kick it off with an obvious one; Brooks from Sheffield Utd to Bournemouth for £11m. Good bit of business for an exciting 20 year old.

Madison was a bargain for £20m odd. Created 100 chances this season.

Diop was a good signing for West Ham too if he's as good as the hype.

Foster has been great for Watford and only cost a couple of million.

Anderson at West Ham and Richarlison at Everton had good seasons as well.

In terms of 'duds' Fred was pretty useless.

Diop was a good signing for West Ham too if he's as good as the hype.

Foster has been great for Watford and only cost a couple of million.

I noticed that when I was going through the transfers.

Would have been a good purchase for a 3rd choice (Home Grown) keeper.

That's if he was happy with that, but he is 35 and would have had a chance to play for a CL club!

Diop and Balbuena too, both CBs they signed have been excellent. Balbuena was only £4m as well.

I’m pretty certain City only signed Mahrez to stop their rivals signing him. United in particular.

Mina was always going to be a bad one.

Classic case of being overhyped because of a small handful of World Cup games which is always a poor place to judge players. Especially given that he was never going to replicate his goal scoring exploits.

Would have loved him at Spurs this season, but he's probably on big wages with no resale value.

James Maddison is the one that jumps out to me. Been quality for Leicester and looks right at home in the premiership

Maddison and Brooks before he got injured are the stand outs for me.

Maddison is quality. Quick brain and the ability to make the pass. Brilliant transition player. Massive cheat though.

Everton LB Lucas Digne hasn't looked too shabby. £18 million from Barca last summer. 4 goals, 4 assists.

Wolves' Raul Jimenez looks a decent striker.

Personally for me, Tielemans is the best of the lot. He had to adapt to the league quicker than most of the 18/19 signings since he came only in January and boy has he adapted. My no. 1 transfer target.
