Just to add to the whole Mike Ashley thing - the guy he brought in as chairman, Chris Mort, was up until last season a Spurs season ticket holder. Now I'm just speculating here, but maybe if Ashley is having second thoughts then could Mort be whispering in his ear about selling up and buying spurs?

As I said, this is just me speculating, all I know is that Mort is a massive Spurs fan and had a season ticket here until Ashley made him his right hand man at newcastle.
