New Manager ITK summary

Lots of info coming out over on COYS and FTL, I thought I'd summarise for you guys. And I can't be arsed quoting everything, so just trust me.

Dragon1's pretty much said that Jol's gone and Ramos is coming.

BEN's said he's heard Jurgen's coming, but not from his usual source

Crocket (trustworthy but not recognised ITK) has said he's heard Ramos and Poyet by next week with Allen as caretaker for Blackburn

Noodles posted earlier today that we've turned a corner (he doesn't rate Jol so possibly Jol gone) and he's also made comments about Poyet

A few other's also confirming Crocket's info, but all from the same source so I wouldn't read too much into it...

UPDATE: 26th October 12.00pm

And the latest is Naybet on FTL (very respected, doesn't say much but when he does people listen) says Ramos and Poyet definite next week.

BEN saying he's hearing an announcement on Ramos either later today or tomorrow! Also that Poyet is coming, and he's trying to sort it with Leeds.

I dont by all this ITK crap, there mostly all wrong most of the time. Jol will still be manager of spurs come xmas.

Ramos wouldnt come to spurs if he couldnt pick his own staff and i know he would never pick poyet lol

im not too excited by kilinsmann or ramo to be honest. klinsmann is still an unproven quantity when it comes to club management and i cant help but feel ramos is a bit of a flash in the pan and is just after a nice pay day.

if they're the options then id rather wait around a bit longer.

Ramos i can understand but why Poyet? i dont understand what the board are thinking if this is true (dont get me wrong i love the guy as much as the next spurs fan but he's aint prem coachin material)

I dunno mate. He's assistant manager to Wise at Leeds at the moment, and I think he's done a couple of his coaching badges, or is doing them now. He's also fluent in Spanish, which is handy if the head coach isn't...

It does kinda make sense, and is too random to have been made up...

When more than one ITK says the same thing, it immediately becomes more credible imo, especially if from different sources.

I feel gutted. I hope it's not true but in my heart I feel it is.

Having said that, whoever the manager is will get my support.

If it's going to happen regardless then it's probably best all round to get it over and done with.

Any ideas when the announcement is expected? Tonight? Tomorrow?

Maybe, i'm having problems believen anything at the moment. I like to no whats being said around other places so thanks for posting this.

Its totally mad how bad of a mess Spurs are in at the moment.

Yeah, my biggest doubt is Ramos leaving midway through the season from a team in the Champs League, to take over a team in a relegation battle.

As I say, I'm only passing on the info for people who care but aren't on COYS or FTL.

It's highly possible but can't come to terms with Jol leaving...

Is the writing already on the Monopoly board for Jol?

If so, I will challenge anyone to show me another club manager, who has gone through so much injustice, in what has been an absolute disaster of a season for him. From riches to rags - perhaps ever since we lost to Seville. Or since we lost Carrick. Such great things were planned for him. :violin:

If he really does leave it will be with such a heavy heart, I will find it hard to forgive the board. He is still for me a figure of strength, who stands up to all odds, like a grizzly bear who should be left to run wild, and who is now dying, having been caught in a trap, presumably set by PK. The situation seems as pointless as it is hopeless. The strong suvive, and perhaps it is better to hunt in packs!

If this is all true, I bid farewell to our natural leader. I hope you return one day.

Haha. Poyet? The ex Spur? That would be hilarious. I can see him coaching us on corners:

"Don't be a pussy and bust a gut and risk your own health to get your head on the ball"

Him and Ferdinand were probably the bravest headers of the ball I have seen for a while in Spurs.
