My son in law is a York City supporter. They racked up 96 points throughout the league campaign but we're soundly beaten at home to Oldham last night. He's obviously gutted.

My second team were in action last night too. As I was watching our Europa final I was keeping an eye on Southend at Forest Green. We were losing 2-1 with a few minutes remaining when my cousin's son Jack Bridge fired home an equaliser. He also scored his pentaly in the shoot out to help the Shrimpers go through.

A trip to Wembley now beckons against Oldham.

You can only imagine how frayed my bloody nerves were last night!

Spurs and Southend both won.

Southend has sold over 28k tickets for the play off final. Apparently, Oldham has sold 20k.

Unfortunately, they are restricting the attendance due to rail works or more tickets could have been sold

Oldham, after their easy play off wins over Halifax and York, are heavy favourites but I shall be rooting for my home city Shrimpers.

The whole city came together after all Southend's recent financial woes. I'm pleased Southend are on their way back, regardless of Sundays result.

There's over 150 coaches leaving from Southend tomorrow. All because the Wembley train station is closed so no trains. They've capped the crowd capacity due to train closures but it it should still be a record for a non league play off final.

Getting really nervous now. Not Spurs in Bilboa nerves but still almost there.

My cousin's son Jack.Bridge will hopefully be our hero.again

My mate (who's a gooner but we won't mention that) just messaged me from Wembley. He lives in Frinton and managed to get tickets for him and his kids. Having a great time so far.
