So, you are telling us that everyone loves a day out from Southend!Good luck to S****horpe from Southend United. We are top of the attendance league in the National League. We often out number the home fans with our travelling support.
either that, or he was deviously cleverOn Saturday 150 Southend supporters hired a tourist boat on the Thames. The Shrimpers were playing at Sutton. A 24 year old American got on the wrong cruiser and was sitting all alone. Southend supporters asked him if he was alright as he was so quiet. Cut a long story short they 'adopted' him taking him to the game. Word went around amongst the 1500 Shrimpers at the game about the young American lad, chanting his name Ewan and singing USA, USA.
Southend United have now made him guest of honour for their game against Solihull on Saturday. He will be given a tour and get to meet the players. There will be around 8,000 at the game and Ewan's name will be chanted over and over.
At last, a nice small boat story
Highlights of sons loss at weekend, rare that clubs at this level publish games, first one I've seen tbh
