I remember him being very good for Wolves but don't know how he got on at Brentford.

Worth noting though that Frank will probably go to a back 3 at times so we'd need healthy selection there.

Can understand the link and that Frank is wanting to install a player who can carry his message and leadership into the dressing room but would prefer us to look at bringing in more cultured CB's as I don't see Collins being a significant upgrade on Danso or perhaps even Dragusin and certainly not the same calibre of Romero.

Centre back thing intrigues me, becuase we do have numbers (world where either Romero stays/after replacement)…but a lot of our back ups are flawed and if a manager wanted to switch to a 3 occasionally, suddenly a bit short.

He may not be a very exciting big name player but he is extremely good at what he does and would be a great player to have in the squad.

He’s been excellent for years. Great defender, good on the ball and perfect for Levy to continue to reduce the fans to tears while ripping expectations to shreds.
