That’s because he’s always shit. He’ll always be shit because all he has in his locker is effort and physique. Dele, Son and others might have shit games or a series of games but we at least know they can play well and change a game. Sissoko never has and never will change a game. He’s stealing a living as a Prem footballer and taking a place on the field that should be given to someone else. He wouldn’t have got near the team for the previous 2 seasons and he still shouldn’t be imo.

This, this and this 100 times.

I couldn't fault his general effort etc but he just literally brings nothing to the team. Does he offer you goals? No. Is he creative? No. Does he keep the ball well? No. Does he break up opposition play? No.

Ask anyone about what he brings to the team and the defenders of him will give you a version of "he's good at running in a straight line". Well so is Usain Bolt but I wouldn't want him in our team either, although I'd be amazed if he had a worse touch.

He's most defensive, attacking player I've ever seen. Looks petrified to play a forward ball.

This isn't a bash Sissoko thread so I'll leave it, but god I hope we ship him out. Sure he's a lovely guy but a poor footballer

Ah my mistake, I thought this was the Sissoko thread in Spurs Char, not Transfer Rumours. I did a search and obviously selected the wrong thread :oops:

There is a dodgy link to Inter Milan during the latest days

Inter are getting linked to everyone like the normally do in the transfer windows. Perhaps this time it turns out to have some legs as the vast majority of people seem pretty much done with Sissoko - if they weren't already done with him before.

They play Roma tonight, that might bear some importance. If they get in trouble and Roma catches up with them on the table, maybe some of those tedious links will happen.

Maybe it'd be for the best, it's becoming like the 'Five Degrees of Moussa Sissoko' on here.

We could win the Champions League but my celebratory beer would still taste like piss knowing he was at thid club
See, this I don't get. I think he's shit but I support all our players. It's almost like it's a personal vendetta for some people.

I actually didn’t think he was that shit today. He’s been a lot worse. It was just another nothing game for him same for a lot of players.

I get your point, but who expected something big from Sissoko? At least I didn't, thought he was meant to be just a rotation player. But I expected a lot from players like Alli, for example, and he's been shit many times this season. Eriksen and Son, many good games and many very shitty and quiet. Like today. Still, problems are somewhere else, can't blame anyone individually. Just lazy to blame Sissoko.

Anyone know how much he’s on a week? Interested to know if wages could be another problem in getting some club to take him off us, as well as the fee Levy will no doubt be asking for.

He’s believed to be on somewhere between £300 and £350 per week.

He’s just not very good. We all know that. If we aren’t completely unrealistic on an asking price, he should be gone in the summer.
