Jose Mourinho says the ball used in Tottenham’s FA Cup clash at Middlesbrough was “too light” and like a “beach ball”, though he insisted that was not the reason why his side failed to come away with a victory.

Mourinho doing what he does best...

deflecting from a woeful performance with some comments to push the spotlight in a different direction.

I mean it must have been the players who complained about it, so fuck them and their excuses

So, not wanting to make any excuses, but here's a pathetically lame one to be getting on with.

We should be training with that ball anyway if that is what will be used in the competition.

Mourinho is into his third-season syndrome already. It wouldn't surprise me if we parted company with him in the summer.
That is probably what some on here want but he's been here less than two months. Shall we just keep recruiting managers until it becomes clear that the problem lies with the team?

I know this one. Watched a documentary on it a couple of months ago. Lasted about an hour and a half, bit longer, but it went into full detail on exactly how not to beat Colchester. Fascinating stuff.
