Pulling down the shutters so he can deal with the problems behind closed doors.

What else can he say... "yeah they're shit, and panic at the first sight of having to defend but they're all I've got...

Don't think that'll work.

I'm hoping someone in the coaching staff can work with Sanchez because he hasn't improved as a player since the day we signed him. I see an ok defender, not anything to suggest he will go on to justify a £45 million price tag. The collapse yesterday was down to the whole team though, not the defence.

Sanchez over 90 minutes showed he isnt up to it.

I bet he is!
He'll be pointing the finger at all 11 players on the pitch at the final whistle. West Ham were allowed to lay siege to the Spurs penalty area because our midfield and forwards allowed them to, and the defenders then proved unable to deal with it. With Kane tiring and Bale not really up to speed, West Ham found themselves pushing against an open door. It was one of those afternoons where we could have used Lamela's various gifts to disrupt West Ham's attacks further up the field.

Same goes for all of the other defenders

Dont agree really, we were let down by not defending well as a team in the last 15 minutes. Sanchez let us down several times before then and we were saved by other defenders, unless your turning a blind eye.

I can see you have the disagree red x so we'll just have to differ then. In my opinion he will not be a starter after this season.

Toby was OK. The problem with Sanchez is that not only is his defending not exactly top 4 quality, his passing isn’t great either.

Maybe that pass he made to Son or Kane (can’t remember which one) was a fluke then

I haven't been impressed for a long while with him in any capacity. Positioning is questionable. His passing awful unless he's giving it back from where it came. Does not want the ball imo. Heading is shite. 50/50s he loses the majority in the air or on the floor.
The problem is he cost so much he's going nowhere.
Another to add to the long list of shite Spurs record buys.
Everytime I see his name on the starting 11 I know the clean sheet is gone.
When was the last time he played and we kept a clean sheet btw?

Hes in there because he has pace which the other CBs don't have , was expect much more from a former record signing. He didn't have a good day at the office yesterday, not all his fault but.... It will be hard for the special one to keep playing him for his pace alone. I hope Rodon can run quickly, head and pass, and generally not mess up too much, oh maybe I'm hoping for too much for 15m.

Dunno why everyone is banging on about Sanchez alone . I thought the whole back 4 were all over the place .
Also didn’t help when PEH changed position.

If Son and Ndombele hadn’t been taken off I don’t believe the collapse would have happened . Once they went off we just sat back even more with only a tired Kane and a less than match fit Bale to occupy them In their half.

£45 M is a fair price for his potential he is 23-24 we got him at 21 . Maguire cost 90M. If I'd had the choice between the two I'd pick Sanchez all day long....others may disagree I would put Sanchez currently in the top 6 CB in the league.

Why would you use Maguire as the barometer? Because it suits your point? Top 6 CBs in the country is an absolute joke. I wouldn't say top 20. I don't see enough facets to his game in which he excels to say he has astronomical potential.
