José Mourinho expects Son Heung-min to miss the rest of the season with a fractured arm, and has said that Tottenham’s selection crisis in attack could not be worse before they host RB Leipzig in the last 16 of the Champions League.

It doesn't sound good...

I was hoping since its an arm injury, it can wait till the season is over.

We are having horrible luck with injuries this season.

Son was our only realistic alternative to Kane as a regular scorer . Without him, its hard to see where the goals will come from. This could cost us any chance of getting fourth place :(:banghead:

Good leadership Jose. Probably better to come out Publicly and speak positively about the other players that are going to have to cover son and Kane

Although I suppose by believing worst case scenario anything else is a bonus

Son was injured in the first few minutes of the game but played til the end. That sounds to me like it's more like a hairline fracture than an actual break. Could be wrong but I think Mourinho is being overly negative about this one. Maybe an early return will give us the lift we need to finish strong and there's nothing to lose by playing these sort of games.

His way of dealing with this, even though negative, is laying down a challenge to the rest of the players. It all depends on the mentality of them how they react.

Has Mourinho had that affect on them yet? Wouldn’t you want to go and make yourself known in this period of opportunity? Let’s see if it gets them fired up!

Bearing in mind it requires surgery i'd be surprised if it is hairline.

Didn't know he was having surgery when I made my post. It may also be a case that some minor surgery could speed up the healing process.
