"Get fresh legs on" to replace the guy who had been on the pitch for the shortest amount of time.

To be fair I don't think Kean speaks a word of English but Ferguson could've at least given him a hug as he went by instead of turning his back on him.

Everton > Bournemouth > United > Chelsea iirc. Arsenal are in for a rough couple of weeks.

Pity. :joyful:

Do people still watch MOTD now. Im glad sky have put the highlights on youtube almost straight after every game.
Rarely now. I often just go on YouTube. Sky seem to put out brief highlights and goals for each game.

Until any channel starts putting out good quality punditry I see little benefit in watching a longer show.

MOTD mention a very minor moment where Kane goes down holding his face but completely ignore the dive for Brighton's goal. Weird.

In real time I thought Kane got a poke in the eye, stray and without malice, but even so.. at pace, it can hurt. But as they said, he didn't make a meal of it or appeal.. so why cover it? oh, social media they say. Strange choice.

I asked Lineker the same thing.

Anybody watching? They’re showing the 4-4 game at the Emirates (Redknapps first game) one of the best draws ever :)

They absolutely battered us after the Bentley goal but still remember the equaliser now.

What I’d give to have that Modric playing with the Poch team at its peak though

Really was pure fluke we got a draw, as they totally battered us in that game.

No wonder we struggled though, and did in general at that time. Gomes at fault for a couple of goals, Hutton likewise, Corluka at centreback against a quick team like that(!), Woodgate looked even slower and was past it by that point looking back now, Huddlestone could dig a ball but had no business being out there against fast fluid, mobile, interchanging opposition, Bentley had a hollywood pass/cross/goal in his locker but wasn't a coherent footballer otherwise, Bale was a timid scared little boy at that point, and up front we had one dimensional Bent or Stupor Pav to choose from.

Pretty grim.

I was doing my uni initiation during that game and we had tally marks drawn on us everytime we did something wrong with a dirty pint out of your shoe as the punishment for each mark. One of those in charge was an Arsenal fan so I got marked everytime we scored. Only got a hazy memory of our fourth goal but apparently afterwards I ran up to the guy, gave him a two fingered salute and then insisted on giving everyone in Walkabout a hug.

I can’t find it now but there’s a tweet flying round with a compilation of the goals we’ve conceded this season. That defence in that game under Redknapp looks like AC Milan early 90s in comparison!

Edit: Here you go, found it!
