Who have Monaco got that we could swap? Otherwise what's the point of selling our top goal scorer?

As good as Ade is when on song I don't trust him to keep performing for long spells, and there is the ANC coming up next season, which he put before our CL aspirations two years ago. In other words I would let him go if we can bring in Lukaku or another top striker to replace him. Realistically Monaco is one of the few clubs that might both want to sign him and pay his obscene wages, so I hope they make him an offer he can't refuse.

Seems inevitable if he won't take a pay cut

Hope he does as with right manager and the right mood he is so important and difficult to replace

But I can't see Levy turning down a big deal as there will be few willing to pay up, and he knows that

@18Klinsmann, you talk sense. I like Adebayor a lot so it's with some sadness that I find myself agreeing with you.

If the price is right and more importantly ....IF we know we can get someone else in ...then I'd let him go.
Would love to see lukaku and Bony as our main two strikers .....but would settle for just one of them :)

Get his wages off the bill. Too much baggage with him (and always has been). He'll probably expect Monaco to double what he's currently on though.

Think I am right in saying that over half his wages are paid by Man City as a contract buy out. When this runs out he will be on his bike whether we want him or not.

Wasn't there some ITK a while back saying the same thing? Ether way i would be very happy if we sold Ade and brought in Morata.

Delighted if true. Not that I have an issue with Ade but his wage is too high and he is too high maintenance.

And I believe the story is that the Man City money runs out this close season . If so then unless we cough the full 170 gs (ish) per week then
yes he gotta go .

Depends whats in the contract I suppose .

If he stays do we have to pay he full amount anyone ?

Yeah let's sell ade he's only our top scorer after playing about half the season as soon as he came back he dented our title hopes, we could have won the league if sherwood didn't bring him back

You would have to get Daniel the smelling salts first.
