If I were Chelsea I'd swap Kante for Skriniar and sign Rice. Us paying for Rudiger would make that even easier for them. I really hope that isn't happening.

This is what’s bothering me with Inter wanting Kanté. It seems to make a lot of sense.

I love this being linked with our opponents players before we play. First Ings and now Rudiger. No point linking Spurs to Chelsea players or vice versa, never happening. Skriniar is clearly the one, seems like it's all ready to pull the trigger on but may have to wait a bit for some outgoings first. Feels like one of those deals that's good and ready so can be finalized up to the end of the window if needs be.

This makes it sound an awful lot like we've just put this out there to show Inter that we have an alternative, available option. Hope that's the case anyway.

Think he just could read an 'exclusive' from other Sky or tweeted that to get another likes and follows from Chelsea fanbase as looks they don't rate him

Yeah I do find it hard to believe someone who plays for a club that's so difficult for us to deal with personally will be seen as an ideal choice for a fall back option.

always seen this as more an opportunistic signing than desperately needing another body at CB, think it'll be skriniar or no one

Calm down boys lol, one persons opinion vs another no need to get aggressive towards each other ?
It’s a hard concept to grasp for some. Always been a forum bug-bear of mine when the forum users go full “bandwagon bashing”.

Have an opinion, neg rep away (it’s a forum after all) but to jump on the bandwagon in order to promote a gang mentality is pretty sad. We’re all adults.

It’s happening a lot, cliques of neg reppers lurking in the shadows in order to promote a witch hunt.

Have your say, tackle the comment, give your onions but say it with your chest.

It’s a forum. I think Dawson is slow. You don’t... we move on.

Yep. If we want or believe Chelsea would sell to us we should go back in for Giroud.

Why would they sign Skriniar when the aggressive high line that they play is precisely what led to Skriniar being dropped from the Inter team?

Would make no sense at all - either for Chelsea or Skriniar.

I couldn’t remember if that was Rudiger or not, but it’s hard to think of a less likely player to sign for us, given that.

No it was 100% Rudiger in our last match against Chelski at the Lane — where Kung Fu Gaz & Son also appeared.

I don’t think he was slow, it was the huge turning circle that was the problem. I loved Daws and he was a good defender for us. He rarely had a bad game and gave it his all. I would have peak Dawson in the team over Sanchez and Dier at the moment, that’s for sure.

Daws also had nice touch with his long diagonal balls. A bit Toby about them. This also is what Dier lacks.

Dier’s long passing is fine - Toby and Daws often misplaced that type of pass (and I love both players)

I think Toby has world class long crosses. Dier defiently has touch but his long passing game hasn't been good.
