Conte has driven up the average age of that Inter squad too. Most people he has brought in bar a few have been in their 30's.

that’s Halis that he is with...

Are you 100% sure?

It looks like Frank Trimboli, who negotiated the Eriksen deal?

Could even be an old picture that the journos are trying to make a story out of?

Here is Frank Trimboli:

Avatar duly changed. Fabrizio, Ally G and Di Marzio all reporting on this make me confident. Make it happen Stevie Hitch

The guys 6'2 a bit taller than Dav and he looks quite considerably bigger than Dav. Either your lighter and quicker or bigger and stronger. Rarely going to be big and fast but he may not have a quick first ten but can be quick over a long distance

If were going to drop 50 million id far prefer it to be on a central midfielder who can challenge/ back up holjberg.
Disagree sorry, we are far more in need of an upgrade at CB than we are in CM. Toby is still good but has lost a yard, Sanchez is very raw and let's not even go there with Dier. Škriniar is a brilliant defender and he along with Reguilon and Doherty with one of the other three alongside him will provide us with the overhaul we needed at the back. This guy is a rock and that is what we need at the moment.

How comes we started the window with BTEC value sighnigs like Doherty and Holjberg before moving onto Harvard Prep in Bale and Regulion and then Oxbridge with the next 2-3 after them?

Also worth nothing inter probably owe us money for eriksen that we can offset as part of the deal.

'this matches my info , we have serious interest but we have not offered yet and we have made clear we will not meet their number , I disagree with him with Dias , we love him but Benfica are saying no go at the moment , there is also the issue of the prem defender where we really believe we can get a deal done and Jose likes a lot '

I doubt Levy would be seriously panicked to this extent because of just the everton game. My best guess is these positions were targeted from the beginning, but Bale and Serge R were opportunities that unexpectedly arose and he went for them.

I only know as much as I've read about this CB, but if he is half as good as I've read this evening, this could be a key signing for us. Love Toby, but have lots of doubts about Sanchez and Dier. Together with 2 new FBs, which we have been crying out for for 2 years at least and this could be the best window I can remember.

Fingers crossed we get this over the line.

Neville or somebody was talking during a game the other day, how the best CB pairs have one fast and one technical and aggressive - pair Skriniar with Sanchez and we'd be looking good. Back four of Serge, Sanch, Skriniar and Sergio would be cool for alliteration too
What about Doherty, Dier, Davies and Doby?

Wonder if the Diop aspect is related to Toby going to Inter in part exchange. Toby and Aurier out, Skriniar and Diop in with Tanganga operating as backup RB would be a well-balanced back line.
