We really need to cash in while we still can with Dele. He slows things down so much when reviving the ball deep rather than moving it quickly. His incessant attempt to flick the ball at every opportunity is eye gougingly frustrating and as for his theatrics, at least make it look realistic.... If he were an actor he'd be holyoaks at best!

A few glaring problems though, number one jan vertonghen has no distribution whatsoever, the Middlesbrough players are just letting him have the ball as they know he never does anything productive with it.

Next is service, generally we are suffering from a lack of quality up top. Aurier and sess not producing enough.

The usual pissing about and losing the ball from Dele and Lucas.

Same problem once again. Individuals need to show more, but tactically we have come out with little direction or idea. There seems to be little indication as to how, where, through which players, etc. we're trying to break them down and where we're looking to target. Just go through the motions possession.

Some of our players though have to start thinking and anticipating play a bit more. Making space and peeling off between the lines, playing it two touch instead of five plus, and about four times in that half it was a sole runner in Sessegnon busting a gut in at the back post trying to get on the end of something or at least give his man something to aim for whilst the rest of our 'world class', international attack just looked at it unfold and didn't react.

It doesn't excuse losing possession over and over. You can be ineffective but being a complete liability deserves criticism.
