Not for me, I know we were interested before but he's been average every time I've seen him play

His head went down very quickly after his move to United. Lots of rumours of a partying lifestyle. I dunno he has talent, and crucially for Levy - he'll be undevalued in market terms. If we were going for a wildcard winger I think Zaha has higher possiblities though, although obviously harder to extract from Palace.

I rate him. But I don't in our current system. We don't need his personality either.

Don't know how much truth is in this now, but we wanted him big time(topped the list) before he went to united. I would not be at all surprised, if we still held an interest.

Poch could probably get some of that potential out of him, but he appears to be a massive **** who believed his own hype, so I don't think he's the player we need right now.

He could be exactly the sort of player we need but I'm a bit (a lot) worried about how badly things went for him at Utd. Mind you, if we got him at a discount then it might be worth it as he has a lot of talent.

He's an inverted winger so is probably the kinda player Poch would like in his preferred system.

Different to Zaha who is more direct and probably wouldn't play inverted (although Depay is an inverted left winger and Zaha I thought more of a traditional right winger so you could fit both in team).

Couldn't really say either way whether good enough, bit of a risk but could become a gem. Or carry on being bang average in prem.

Can we get him cheap? He has ability and potential. I'd take him if the price is right but i doubt Mourinho would sell to us for a cheapish fee.

If the problems at Man Utd have changed his attitude a bit and he's willing to work to become a star instead of thinking he already is, then he'd be good for us. Clearly a lot of talent, as shown in Holland.

Otherwise, someone like him but not him would be a useful addition.

Don't see it happening. He is on a reported 90k per week.... Too much for a gamble or an impact sub.

Unless man Utd really wants to get rid and sells him cheap and cover a part of his wages. Lol

The thing is, is we all know that the potential is there, that's so plain to see. He is quick, tricky, skilful and has a cannon of a shot on him. I know we were very interested when he was at PSV, and with Mourinho clearing out at Utd, would be shocked if we weren't sniffing around.

Could be good for VJ's confidence, if you played him down the right, getting him in behind defenders and pulling back balls for him, N'Koudou, Janssen and Depay would actually look decent, and open up the possibility of a 4-3-3 (The "Dutch System")

Main problem for me is his attitude, he certainly arrived at Utd with the same hype and self-confidence of Pogba, only Pogba can back it up! Maybe time spent at Utd in the subs and reserves is a massive wake up call to him, might pull his head from his arse and get him knuckling down.

Kind of similar to when we had Gio imo, the raw talent and skill is evidently there, but the party lifestyle and attitude has to potential to derail his career entirely.

I think his broken confidence is partly LvG's fault as he seemed to completely suffocate all creative play during his tenure there. For example, we all know the quality of Di Maria but he flopped immensely under LvG like many players before him.
And now under Mourinho he doesn't seem to be getting his chance so depending on the fee I think this could turn out to be a very shrewd purchase if true.

He's available for loannin January with option to buy so I'd imagine levy will be all over this.

Little downside and if he performs well, his value will increase.

You know I woke up this morning thinking, what this team is really missing is a Peruvian pan pipe player .... weird.
