Both for me.

Said as much a few times previously. ;)
I've no interest in a player that young who has his heart set on Chelsea, that's wasted money. If Lewis is available I think he'd make a fine addition, him with Sess further advanced would be very appealing.

Plenty of players have their 'heart set' on X, Y, Z club. Doesn't mean we shouldn't sign if they're willing to come.

Eriksen wanted one of the Spanish big two, looks like he'll be plying his trade in Italy.

I reckon the big boys have come in for Eriksen - just a hunch.

I'd rather have a player 100% committed to the cause than someone who didn't get the move he dreamed of, Eriksen being a prime example ... I'll pass.

I like MA, but nowhere near the alleged circa 40m he is been mooted at. He would improve us offensively, but defensively not there yet.

I take your point to an extent. But he's young enough to come in and perform and maybe get his dream move further down the line if he performs well.

Exactly what should've happened with Eriksen, but he downed tools and we as a club failed to sell at the right time imo.

I'm not sure I'd pay silly money for Aarons now, but I've been a fan of both Norwich's fullbacks since they were in the Championship last season.

That was when we should have snaffled them.

Last couple of lines is where it's at - club needs to figure out how they go about purchasing decent English youth like they used to and remember how to sell high - then see if they have figured out how to reinvest it. It's a loop that we got out of under Poch.

Heard an interesting tidbit tonight I thought i'd share;
My mate who's worked in the football industry at Cardiff and Man City had tickets in the directors box tonight along with several Norwich directors. By all accounts they are already working on likely deals for Cantwell (Utd) and Aarons (us) to be sold in the summer and both for around £25m plus add-ons (so could well conceivably be around the £45m previously mentioned re Aarons).

I'll plug him for more info tomorrow but thought i'd share considering in my opinion, Aarons could be a shrewd move indeed in an area of need.

After tonight I’ll be delighted if we’re looking at Aarons, but a bit gutted if we’re not in for Cantwell

Yes to Aarons, Cantwell for all his talent is a right bellend.

Exactly. We need a bit more of that.

He felt hard done by going to VAR review for that tackle (which they were absolutely correct to review) and so he kept his head up and really went for us.

We could do with a few more bastards of that mentality, who crucially have the skill to back it up.

Both look good, Cantwell looks a nice player but not convinced about British people called Todd it just doesn't sit right.

Sounds like the rebuttal against signing Grealish.

If you look at tonight's game, his foul on Lamela was a yellow not a red but he purposely left his studs up. He then wiped out Winks which should have been a 2nd yellow. Then on more than one occasion he fell over like a little girl when he was barely touched.

Sounds like a solid case against signing a player. In all honesty, I'm not sure where he would fit within our side, but ruling out a player because he's a little nasty (mind you he hasn't ever received a Red Card in his time with the senior squad), despite being only 21 years old and has put together a solid season for a pretty bad Norwich side seems silly. If anything, the case against signing him should be his name is Todd.

I would disagree
He isn't £40million worth of fullback, not yet, but that won't stop teams paying the asking price. He looked good against a disjointed attacking front three tonight, he was hardly troubled.

Going forward he seemed alright.
