Theo is their best player this season, no chance

Nothing going on at AC Milan makes sense at all. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if they agreed to it.

Any other club on earth I'd agree with this, but anything can happen with Milan.

We don't need him right this instant if Tanganga is going to slot in. I think bring in a CB like Ake and maybe look at Ferguson instead.

Then reignite Aarons deal in summer.

If Aarons is the RB we particularly want, I can easily see Jose making do with what we've got until the end of the season and then going for Aarons at a cheaper price if/when Norwich get relegated, thus freeing up more funds for other, more urgent players over this window and the next.

I imagine that would suit Levy better too.

Aston villa didn't drop their price for grealish when they got relegated.

We won’t be the only club planning that move, which is probably why Inter are prepared to pay a good few million for someone they could get (but probably won’t) in five or six months.

Norwich want £45m for him this window according to our correspondent at the Athletic so we won’t pay that for him.

Just a scare tactic to fend off any suitors. They're fighting relegation battle. No way they would be willingly selling one of their best RB

& people scoff at the ideal that we would ask £20 mill for KWP.

£45 mill and that's all potential. Be interested to hear what they rate the young left back there at.

Agree although they don’t have much money as a club compared to Villa with their new owners so if / when they go down they’d have to drop the price as they’ll need the money for sure.

only because they got the massive financial bailout of new ownership. Had that not happened they would have had to move him for the lower rate

The £45m for Wan Bissaka in the summer is already starting to look more reasonable. Surely at some point prices will have to start coming down again but for now it seems like they're still on the rise.

Had a really good game today which MOTD seems to back up.

Do like Buendia.

Norwich are having their moments but looking likely to go down. Can't see them selling him this month but will likely sell if they go down.

Aurier hasn't been too bad these last few games, so I'd be tempted to hold off on chasing Aarons until we fix the bigger weaknesses in the squad.

Don’t think timing when players are available is in our hands.

Norwich are still in with a chance of staying up, a slim one but possible.

They wouldn’t sell this month unless the fee is way, way above what they could get for him in the summer. Summer will be the time to make enquiries for him.

I don't see the fuss about Max Aarons. I have seen quite a few Norwich games this season - he has been at fault for many Norwich goals - main problem being out of position or not reading the play. Yes, there has been games where he has shown odd moments of brilliance. But largely, he has had a bad first PL season.

Aurier is playing really well. Tanganga seems to be a good back up in that position. IMO, no need to rush for a RB this Jan. I would rather focus on getting a proper striker & a defensive midfielder than a RB this window.

Personally, I would go for German International RB Lukas Klostermann (Leipzig) - He is a big unit 6'3 , but also quite fast, tactically brilliant, good in final third, can also play across the back line - Currently stalling on his contract (ending 2021). Bayern are after him. He may cost 40m+. Get him & we are sorted under Mourinho era.
