I believe he signed a new contract in the summer. There is a strong possibility it has a relegation release fee attached and therefore Norwich may get more for him now rather than waiting?

Why is every SpursOfficial tweet being spammed with Max Aarons gifs in the replies? I assume it's just the Twitterverse being dicks.

I have to believe that KWP going to Palace on loan indicates we are signing a RB. We just can't be risking leaving ourselves shorter than we already have if Aurier gets injured especially with Sissoko out.

I've missed this, KWP is joining Palace?

KWP never plays anyway so I doubt it unfortunately

Seems that way, Lillywhite Rose reporting it who's the spurs youth whisperer and now The Athletic reported it an hour ago. I should have phrased my post to say if it's true but based on how it's being reported I think it's nailed on tbh.

Yep. Just hope he goes to Palace, cements the job and proves he could play at this level. At best, we have a reliable right back. At worst, we can get some money for him

Massively mismanaged by Spurs and probably stumped his growth. Definitely a negative from Poch's legacy.

I’d imagine there will be a clause that palace can buy if they want at the end of the season, so I’d be surprised to see him back here again

Shame we can’t just go out and get Aarons and Ferguson tbh, that’s what a big club would do and it’d lock down RB for years to come.

If we can’t buy and loan back in the same window are there any rules stopping a Frenkie de Jong to Barcelona type deal, where the transfer doesn’t officially go through until the summer?

I think Palace were looking for a rb in the summer, don't know if they found one.

EDIT: Obviously they were, after selling AWB.

Not sure why the sadness at losing KWP - he's just not good enough for a club with CL ambitions.

Probably a solid pro for a mid-table or lower table side (like Andros Townsend) but nothing more, Neither Poch or JM seemed to trust him. Says it all

Levy created this problem with the world record fee for Bale. Took just a couple of years for everyone else to want their own pay day for EPL standard players.
With such a warped way of thinking I pity you
