I was more impressed with Lewis on the other side when we played them. He blocked almost every one of Auriers attempted crosses. Maybe he's not normally that good though and is a couple years older.
One of the metal training dummies could block Aurier’s crosses at the moment...

If it’s £30 million and we are certain he’s the guy who we think can be our number one right back for the next few seasons then we should do it. Especially if Norwich are willing to let him go.

I guess we will need to convince him how much he will play, but if he can’t get Aurier out of the team I think we’d all be surprised.

Signing a right back now would also tell Aurier he’s not convincing enough, which would hopefully lead to him leaving in the summer.

Really feel he should be our number 1 target this transfer window. Yes he will cost lot of money but that just the way it is now a days with the crazy transfer fees especially in January.

I really haven't seen what others see in Aarons, especially this season. Like others I prefer Ferguson/Bogle for understudy and target Atal for first choice.

I’m not sure what all the hype is about either. Sure he must have something with all the interest surrounding him though.

He's a good player mind you in our game it was the kid on the other side that caught my eye Jamal Lewis.
Either way it's his birthday today so he's getting older and we better get our skates on.

isn't he just another light weight KWP rag doll type? Where's the youtube highlights reel?
He looked good against us very quick, decent technique.

I do worry a bit that hes more suited to being a wing back than in a back 4 due to his size.

We don't need another injured player

Tottenham step up £15m Max Aarons transfer pursit as Nathan Ferguson hopes fade
Never change, Levy.

‘We offered what we felt was reasonable in today’s market. Unfortunately, Norwich played us around by accepting a higher offer from another club. Out of principle, we have walked away from the negotiations, satisfied in the knowledge our disdain for paying current market prices is the only reasonable response.”

ferguson wants to “wait for a huge move abroad”...correct me if I’m wrong but he can sign a pre contract with any European club now and it’s not happening so that Sun article seems shiite at best- no dig or disrespect intended at @THFCSPURS19!

Levy created this problem with the world record fee for Bale. Took just a couple of years for everyone else to want their own pay day for EPL standard players.

He's too young to sign a pre-contract I think.

Odds have been slashed on him joining us by the way. As short as 1/6 with some bookies.

Someone has whacked a load of money on it then.

Seems Breezer's news in the ITK thread may well be the reason for the movement if we've put an enquiry in for him.
