The Athletic reporting he is a leading candidate for the USMNT job. I would not be opposed to this.
Just based on feels I'd much rather have him than most of the other rumored guys...but with 100% honesty I don't think his style is a fit for national team management. Takes his club teams so long to get rolling and he's not going to have near as long in training with the national teams.

I will not complain if we hire him though...I'll just be a little nervous in the back of my mind.

I know what you mean, but I've always wanted to see what a coach with a more attacking philosophy could do with our squads.

He's a much higher calibre manager than the US national team. He should bide his time a bit. Better opportunities will arise in the coming months.

He's not a national team manager at all. Also, we don't have the CB's for a high line nor the keeper for his football. It wouldn't go well.

They're probably gonna pay him a lot, which seems to be what he's all about these days

Random people on twitter claiming an agreement has been reached between Poch & the US. One of them did break Berhalter being sacked before anyone else although that might have been a given. We'll see. Dont like it if true. He's not an international manager.

Get's paid well for two years at a much lower stress level and gets to live pretty much wherever he wants. Can see why he'd take it.

Mirror jumping on the bandwagon now.

He really has made some terrible career choices. That's a comment about going into international management, not specifically the US job. A manager his age with his ability should be at a top club in Europe & prepping for title challenge/European trophy. Yea he has money after psg and Chelsea and I assume US will pay well but given how well he did with us who would of thought the rest of his career would go like this

Weird decision, still think he could have got a big European club role. Actually thought he'd end up in Italy or Spain again.

He makes the strangest decisions. Makes no sense but I lost all attachment to him after he went to Chelsea

Probably wants to find some enjoyment back in football. The last two jobs were at two of the most soul destroying clubs.
International management is new, at an "underdog" nation, potential to develop the sport further there.
Good luck to him.
