Although I like Ryan Bertrand, we really need some experienced/cultured players in our team. If we are to move Rose on, i'd like to see Bertrand but also a 30/31 international who's happy to compete but not play every game.

Vertonghan is easily our best centre back at full fitness, and should be seen as a left back just because he's left footed. He also doesnt seem happy there

I think we have to remember how good Shaw has become under Poch.. i would imagine that if we had been linked with Shaw before Poch came to Southampton many people would have said ''he's a good player but is he good enough for us''.

Its strange but i am having to adjust my way of thinking now that we have a coach who seems to actually be good at working with players and making them in to better players like managers of old used to do. I find my self thinking why would we buy him then have to think well maybe Poch can turn him in to the next good thing where as before i'd be thinking that we should buy a player that can came in and have an immediate impact .. Nowadays managers like to buy the finished article or players that are 90% there and fit them in to their way of playing rather than turning prospects in to players.

The more i read about Poch and how he coaches the more i am excited about the prospects of bringing on some of the talent we have.

Remember when Becks, giggs, scholes, butt, the neveile brothers etc all came through utd at the same time, if we could emulate that in a few years time not only would it save us a fortune it would give us a huge chance.

I have bought in to Poch a lot more but we must give him time to develope the club as a whole and get a blue print running through all the age groups at the club. We could have a very exciting future if we give him time.
