So, from this quote: "I learnt a lot from him, he taught me more and that's why I have grown as a player and there is a big difference compared to when I was at Celtic. He played a big role in my career development. I wanted him to remain because he had the passion for the club and I think the owners should not have let him go because the team can do better next season. It's a big blow because he had a good connection with the players."

........the paper gets this: 'and the Kenya international hinted at a reunion in the aftermath, telling Capital Sport'

That is some 'hint' - its so hidden, its like its almost not there(!)

Haven't we been through the entire Southampton Start XI soon? Would of been easier if Poch had just stayed instead of bringing the entire squad to London....

I always saw Wanyama as a player in the potential mould of Yaya Toure or Mousa Dembele (as he was when he first signed). He spent much of the season at Southampton stepping up from the Championship-level Scottish Premier League and then recovering from serious injury.

I'd still like to see Mousa being given the chance to show us what he's made of. I don't think AVB game him the right role and thought he often looked injured.

Wanyama's price tag would be steep and wonder if he'll fulfil the promise he shows with his quick feet and enormous strength - but he has all the attributes to become an awesome footballer.

No and no. Guarin maybe but only for under 8m. I don't rate Wanyama. Or more strictly speaking I do not see him good enough for Spurs. He is fine for a mid-table team.

I won't believe it until we get ITK on his spaghetti intake.
