I'm not quite sure why rumblings persist regarding his move. I reckon if he wanted to go and/or Poch didn't mind selling him, then that's fine.

But I'd have much preferred to recoup money on Aurier and reckon KWP is a real key player for us now. Playing Sanchez there against Arsenal revealed how difficult it is to retain team shape and not get targeted if you have a fish-out-of-water in any position. We need a good right back there. Now that Trippier is gone, KWP is the only one we have.

Not a right back. We’re a top four club that made the final of The Champions league for goodness sake. It’s a ridiculous situation to be in.

You're gonna have to get used to the idea of him playing as a RB this season then, sorry.

No need to apologise, it’s not your fault. Yes I’ll have to get used to it, but I don’t have to like it. And I’ll probably be pointing to the fact that we don’t have the depth in squad (yet again) as one of reasons we win F-all, again.

The most worrying thing about this article is Sanchez being mentioned in the same breath as KWP, Aurier and Tripps!

Foyth isn't a RB as much as Zinchenko isn't a LB, sometimes you just have to sit back and let coaches run the rule over our players, it's obvious to me that it wasn't a priority as Poch thinks Foyth can do a job there.

Bale wasn't a left winger but he excelled there, Rose was a winger who ended up being better at left back. Good players can adapt to new positions. The problem is it takes time, which we don't have if we want to achieve something this season.

Foyth also needs time on the pitch or he'll be looking to move on. It would be a massive mistake to lose him IMO so playing him at RB is a compromise worth taking.
