It seems that the Belgian Evertonian has a buy out clause: http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/20951691

Now it does seem that there there several good reasons for us to buy him:
1. He can play as the lone front man very effectively as seen this season.
2. Therefore he can cover/ replace Ade....not like for like but an option.
3. His purported favorite position is defensive midfield......so he gives us a bit more depth there.
4. He is young and has an EPL suited game.
5. He would add to our Belgian contingent.

We have no chance as it's been said that Chelscum wants him to replace Fat Frank.

He's close to becoming one of the top midfielders in the world for me. Physical presence, great in the air, good on the ball... could play anywhere, probably.

What a midfield Fellaini and Sandro would be, the message to the opposition would be "YOU SHALL NOT PASS US!"

Will be a great signing for someone. Can definitely see him going to one of the new big three though unfortunately.

Not to mention - great hair! Some competition for Benny and the Hudd in that area too!

Think you are right but with our Belgian contingent, a coach with incredible humanity and a chairman who could use the release clause to avoid a bidding war.....you never know!

Would live him at spurs, I have said so for a few seasons now but not a chance in hell imo. Can see him playing in a Chelsea shirt soon

Ugh. Combination of Fellaini, Mata, Hazard, Oscar, & Moses behind Ba. Not too shabby.

Sickening isn't it:( I longed for the time that Chelsea players would age and they would slow up their spending etc, clearly not going to happen is it. Oh well

Would never happen and would likely take us in a different direction stylistically from the one that AVB envisions, but just imagine Sandro, Dembele and Fellaini together! That would be nigh on the most physically dominant midfield in Europe. Opponents would be terrified.

Think Fellaini's destined for Chelsea but not sure how well he'd work there. Everton is perfectly tailored for him. With Chelsea he'd have to fit in alongside an abundance of attacking midfielders and would likely be limited to fulfilling a more functional role. He'd still be a top player for them but perhaps not quite the same force that he is at Everton.

I agree he is Chelsea bound too, but how scary would a midfield three of Sandro, Dembele and Fellani be?

He may be great, world class maybe. But he doesn't suit Tottenham Hotspur.

They could be world beaters, but we dont have utter ****s like him at this football club

Amazing what unlimited wealth can get you. Oh, the sense of achievement Abramovich must feel...

Im going to be controversial here and say is he really worth it, now I think he is a great player and has done brilliantly for everton but where would he fit in a first 11, his best position for Everton has been AM or striker and at Everton the team is built around him or catered for him but will this happen at any top CL club?

At DM i always felt he was very good but not great, I would have Parker or Sandro as a DM every day of the week but as a AM he would brilliant but none of those clubs would play him there imo

As some hypothetically one said a combo of Fellaini, Mata, Hazard, Oscar, & Ramires behind Ba, looks tasty but would I rather have for the same money Sandro, Dembele, Moutinho, Bale, Lennon behind Ade in a 433 tbh
