I’ve come to realise that most singings generally turn out how you roughly expect, with the odd outlier here and there.

I don’t think Rashford would be a good purchase at all. It wouldn’t end well.

It’s simply another signing that is easier or more convenient than the right signing. And it’ll cost us more in the long run like it always does.

Occams Razor and all that.

Hoping he turns it around or finds some form is not a good enough reason to sign someone. It’s stupid.

Completely understand all the disparaging comments about him, but if we managed to somehow squeak out just a couple months of form out of him then it would be massive.

It’s a very similar situation to the Lingard to West Ham deal imo actually, a currently shit London club taking a burnt out academy player off Utd and managing to milk him for the last of his worth as he’s motivated to prove his doubters wrong.

Get him in on loan, hope he fires us away from the relegation zone and maybe even helps us win a trophy if we’re very lucky. Then leave him go and end up in S. Korea or something🤷‍♂️

P.S. I’m not actually crying out for him, but just making the case that he’d certainly be better than signing no one

Fair play to him if he gets the move there - might be the change he needs.

Mind, if they keep playing Szczesny in goal he's going to need to hit his straps really quickly to make it worth while...

My preference would be Margot Robbie if my missus ever left me.
I don't even need my wife to leave me. I would happily accept a 6 month loan without obligation.

Trying to keep on thread, he just seems like a poor fit especially in the state we are in at the moment.

There's definitely a dry loan joke here, but I have too much self respect to figure it out!

Good move if he can get it. I don't see him displacing Raphinia or Lamal though so more time on the bench for him.
If Barca need to trim their squad and wage bill we could do them a favour by taking Raphinha off their hands for a reasonable fee… 😉

I wouldn't mind someone like Ferran Torres on loan as a versatile forward. Not sure they will let him go but if they want to make room for Rashford maybe they would.

He's really getting the cold shoulder from Amorim. I think he could be useful for us on a loan, assuming these Barca rumours aren't true.

This has last second deal written all over it, as Barca string him along until 6pm on deadline day, but can't register anyone, and we haven't signed anyone, and DL is sweating.
