Linked by ITK. A couple of times I think. No idea how this fucker has gotten away with not having a thread, so I know it's late, but here it is.

Have at it.

I'd sooner keep Richarlison because he'd likely be off. Says something when you'd rather have a player who's permanently injured.

He'd set such a poor example to the younger players and he dials it in far too often. Big no from me. Shame tho, cos he's got the talent

I think he's a hell of a player on his day but has clearly lost his way at United. Guess the question is whether he's completely lost his way generally or if he's just been knackered by the United pantomime and still has a hunger to prove himself elsewhere. 🤷🏼‍♂️

His form has been far more off than on. I just don't see how he'd fit and with his mega wages can't see why we'd break the bank for him.

We've built a team on good lads with excellent, humble attitudes ready to work hard for the manager. From all we've heard from inside United over the past few years he is a pervasive bad actor who has downed tools, half-arsed and been part of player revolts. Can't think of a worse personality fit for the team we're building if it's all true.

The flip side is that the United media circus does blow things completely out of proportion regularly, and undoubtedly in his past he has been an excellent player, so who knows Ange could be the man to get him back on track...

But then I watch him play and his lack of application and tracking back, his selfish tendency to not make the pass on the break, and his huge reliance on pace that seems to be 80% of where he was 2 years ago and I just don't understand it...

Not for me. He's looked for a while that his best days are behind him, and at 27 it's not like you're expecting him to improve his level from here, and it's not been a good level for a while. He's just so inconsistent, and to chuck any more inconsistency into this squad I just cannot see being useful for the group, and that's without even considering him seeming a bit of a diva when we're very clearly building in the opposite direction to that.

Hope it doesn't happen, but do not for one minute think that it will anyway.

He clearly has ability, not as much as United fans might have you believe in the past but when he’s on top of his game he definitely starts for us.

Only how often is he on top of his game? Probably only done it on a consistent basis for one season. Not only that but I really question his attitude. The ITK saying it’d be a similar deal to how we bought Ade in 2011, well I see similarities between the players abilities and attitudes as well. He’d probably play really well for a short period and then drop off and I can’t help but get the impression he’s a bit of a trouble maker in the dressing room. Its a no from me as overall I think we’d be helping United out and harming ourselves

Yeah, I wouldn't go near him. I think there'd be more appeal if it was a player who has struggled a bit but visibly given his all and tried his best, but the amount of times he's looked like he hasn't given a shit I think is a concern. I think you'd be simply requiring him to improve in too many areas to be worth it, and it's just not realistic.

I think things like this have just summed him up for a large majority.

No thank you, we’ve got enough players that are inconsistent and show signs of weak mentality / only turning up every few games.

Plus he’s been in trouble a lot for off-field partying in recent times so shows a complete lack of professionalism.
