No squad number, you have to think he's going to move abroad for a small fee.

In a parallel universe with Eriksen making way Edwards steps in and becomes a Spurs legend, so sad when you can see how much ability he has.

But we have a 50% sell-on clause, so we'd pay 9m. Which is essentialy only marginally more than they bought him for when his contract was running down.

Can anyone see this as anything more than an attempt to flip him like a house? Jose ain't gonna play a little free spirit like him, is he?

Bizarre story! Talk of United interest as well, silly season already.

I mean it would take Spursy to a new level if we were to let him go for free then buy him back a year later.

We didn't have choice. His contract was running down. He wasn't gonna sign another one.

Not a Mourinho player at all, is he? He'd be better of staying where he is.

Well if he wouldn't sign a contract last time round, he sure isn't going to sign one this time without some assurances regarding playing time one would think.

May do now he doesn’t have Pochettino to destroy the careers of promising youngsters in his age group

Why would Marcus come back? He would just not play or be sent on loan again. Unless Jose as asked for him (Portuguese connection) which is very unlikely.

On the right he would be behind Bergwijn, moura and Lamela. He won't play at all.

Maybe now that Pochettino’s not here, he sees more of a route to the first team?

Doubt that’s the case, the story is mental, but nothing would surprise me with this club.

I don't think it will happen but the first thing I thought of was that maybe we wanted him to meet the home grown quota, wasn't that an issue a little while ago?

Didn’t they get him for free?

Marcus will take one look as how Sessingnon has done and think, “yea I’ll have some of that”.

Or, he is Jose’s new Willian.

If Spurs have a buy-back option does Edwards still have a final say? As much as Spurs may spy a bargain to resell on for profit, you would think Edwards can still say no to rejoining Spurs

It’s quite possible that ME agreed the deal

We don’t have a buy-back option but we do have a hefty sell on percentage
