Like many, my bracket is blown to pieces. I only have 8 teams left in it and only 2 possibilities for the final four. No possible points remaining from the south.

Can't believe the run Loyala are on, taking down Miami and now Tennessee!. As you say, I think this year more than ever people's predictions are just completely out the window.

you're out.

As my father-in-law says: "I'll watch the Lions, the Tigers and the Red Wings. I didn't watch the Pistons even when they were winning." It's always seemed like the sporting version of musical chairs to me. My cousin-in-law likes it though, and I've turned him into a Spurs fan so I suppose there must be something in it.

(Might be worth putting basketball in the thread title (in brackets perhaps?) just so people like me aren't drawn in to desecrate or derail your thread.)

Im not much of an NBA fan but the college tournament always has a few surprises. Plus they are allowed to play defense. But yeah, even when the Pistons were good they were difficult to like with Lambier and Rodman.

Im not sure if there needs to be a more liberal use or more conservative use of replay. Arguments for both after month. I do know that Virginia got bailed out twice on that replay(missed foul call since that wasnt reviewable in the replay and a splitting hairs shade of skin fragment on a ball) and once on the replay in the semi(missed double dribble as that wasnt revieweable in the replay of the foul with 0 seconds left on the clock). Congrats to them though. You need luck and they had tons of it this year after getting shit pumped in the first ever 16/1 upset last year.

I also know that these refs inserted themselves into games at the worst times and made game changing champion defining calls that are never usually made. Were they technically right? Yes but they came after missed calls the opposite way on the same play and both are never called in games (well besides for now). You dont call fouls with no time left and you dont call it the other way when the ball is swatted out of the guys hands regardless of him having a few skin fragments on it last. Made me feel dirty listening to commentators praising the decisions in both games. They were right but refs should NEVER insert themselves into season defining moments like that with calls like those and they need to be criticized for it

Its back. Everything will be played in Indianapolis this year. Longhorns are a 3 seed in arguably the easiest bracket and have a decent chance at a deep run. Peaking at the right time, too.

Im digging myself into a hole and i just dont care. I love you march madness. I missed you so much. Had all my bets for the day in earlier but had to throw a few units on another 15/2 upset with cleveland state over Houston. I love betting on a few edibles trying to swing for the fences
