The only thing I fear about Locatelli is why does Motta, who seemingly plays on the front foot from what I read/hear not fancy him?
Seems great on the ball but is he mobile enough to recover and press high?
At least they played together in the same team. I doubt this means anything but it's a random followYou mean like Douè liking/following Spence on X or whoever it was ?
That makes sense but I guess I would also like luiz over Locatelli is my gut reaction. I think if the price is low enough though then you definitely have to take the risk at some point. Class player on his day.. I just admittedly haven't watched him enough! He got Douglas Luiz from Villa as his first signing - I feel they are just trying to move him on and start fresh
Yes... you're right... I don't think it was Spence... I can't remember ... But Locatelli ><><>< Solanke is weird... but maybe randomAt least they played together in the same team. I doubt this means anything but it's a random follow
I think it's simply because Motta has brought in Thuram, Douglas Luiz and they are about to drop huge money on Koopmeiners and they need to generate funds. Entire new look midfield for the new manager. The only thing I fear about Locatelli is why does Motta, who seemingly plays on the front foot from what I read/hear not fancy him?

In a team as young as hous,, having 2 proven winners, with Romero, the younger players would really have a player on the pitch who knows what it takes to win would surely rub off. All depending on price ofc. His mobile won’t be too much of a concern, in DM our covering the full backs which is massive for Ange, and he be asked to collect the ball and release the ball. Both Bergvall and Gray look like good tacklers. Both have physical strength, size and tackling technique, and both have a bit of Cnut about them too.
The question about them compared to Wharton (a year ago), on paper I think both are better, but Wharton was needed to play at Palace and took to it like a duck to water. We have good quality mids already. Not as needy as Palace.
I’d like Begvall and Gray to be involved straight away, because I think they are ready and will improve us within the first few months of the season, I think they’ll very quickly adapt.
I don’t think we need Locatelli
If there was one no8, I would love to see at Spurs...is this one...

Needs to lay off the tapas a bit. At first glance I thought Clive Own had taken up football.Absolute dream signing that would be.
Sensational player.

Yep and he’s nearly 34 too.Probably will want crazy wages.
I’m not sure who said about us targeting a “high energy” midfielder but Joao Gomes most certainly is it! Plus he would have impressed Ange and the recruitment team a lot from his displays against us, particularly at home.Have to wonder if we follow up interest in Joao Gomes.
Failing that, I'd like to think we are interested in Andre from Fluminense - was brilliant under Diniz who was all about players playing with more freedom and playing fast.

I don’t know. Seems pretty obvious he’d want to leave Barca to come to Spurs. I’m sure he’ll be fine with a massive wage cut too.Probably will want crazy wages.
