As I’ve mentioned a number of times on here Juve have money issues. All season they have been struggling to renew several contracts including the likes of Vlahovic and Chiesa. This summer they will have to offload several players very likely including the likes of Huijsen, Soulé and Chiesa if he doesn’t extend his contract. And that is only the tip of the iceberg, they will be looking to offload many players in order to give funds to their new manager for a rebuild.

Yet despite this they made it their top priority to extend Locatelli’s contract which they did last November. His new deal runs until 2028. Locatelli is also a boyhood Juve fan and quite possibly their best player at this point. I absolutely love him as player but despite Juve’s financial troubles he’s essentially untouchable. He will very likely spend the rest of his career there unless he has a sudden drop of form.

Lots of links from Italy
"Agreement with Tottenham, new farewell at Juve: the situation Tottenham, in fact, ended up on the trail of Manuel Locatelli. The class of '98 is no longer an immovable starter in the Juventus squad, several mistakes over the last few championships have cost him an avalanche of criticism from the fans.
He also lost the national team, with Spalletti deciding not to call him up for the European Championship in Germany. Even within Thiago Motta's chessboard he will be a luxury supporting player, no longer the first choice of the midfield. In short, he will have to elbow his way to secure a starting jersey that he will inevitably find, also considering the many competitions in which Juve will have to participate. The situation compared to previous years, however, is different. For a good offer, the player can leave both for the club and for the former AC Milan himself, who could choose to change air if the project satisfies him. Especially if this were to come from one of the top Premier League clubs like Tottenham is. Spurs are ready to offer 24 million plus bonuses to convince Juve to sell the player. Faced with an offer like that, it is likely that the midfielder will really leave the Juventus club."

Is this not a Bissouma, Bents and Skipp position?? Even Gray?

Yeh but we are not looking strong in that position. Skipp will be sold Bissouma is better up the pitch as is Bentancur. Gray can be the understudy and cover for multiple positions.

I mean we ship way too many goals, that’s on the midfield also. (Set up imo, but let’s not go there atm) I’m not sure Bissouma is better further forward either. But agree that skipps days here should be coming to the end.

Signing younger talents from Serie A like Udogie - check

Signing players from Juve they are looking to sell like Kulu and Bents - check

Signing arguably Juventus best Italian player - unlikely?

I absolutely loved Locatelli a couple of years ago. He is so classy. Not sure what happened to him at Juve but those same fans complained a lot about Bentancur being sloppy on the ball and he is a boss.

I think its doable. His stock isn't so high right now. There is a reason he wasn't picked in the euro Squad. I still like him though but some seem to be overrating him slightly.

It's Don time. I think we've realised the transfer committee has failed, and we need a bit of pizazz to save the window. I smell a Chiesa and Locatelli double. God save the Don.
Absolutely what we need!

Maybe it's all the Italy talk in the previous posts but my eyes read pizazz as pizza.
