Another 3-2 win. This is a great opportunity to get ourselves a third PL win a row (who’d Have thought that a month ago?) Utd defence is as bad as ours but our attacking players are far superior, so we will concede but dammit we will score a bunch too!

Hoping that Jose has some additional insight into specific players to give us the edge.

If we were to go into the last 20 mins in front then we need a morale boosting professional display of closing the game out!

Here's the opposition view if you're curious:

They're not confident are they?

Should be a spicy one this. I can see Jose doing something OTT if we win.
Funnily enough, I can't.

I think he's trying a more dignified approach to management, and seeking to lose the comedy act which comes with Jose Mourinho when he joins a new club. I've already been impressed with how he has presented himself in pressers etc. I'm hoping he keeps up this low profile approach, as I'd hate for our club to become the Jose Mourinho Comedy Sketch Show.

Win lose or draw, I'd like him to stay on the touchline until the final whistle, shake Ole's hand afterwards, and applaud our fans before going down the tunnel.

I expect this to be a tough game, their front 4 against our defence will not be ideal especially Dan James who looks a very good player for them. Our front 4 is looking pretty decent itself and I think I'd probably back them to get a result until I see the first 11, if they continue playing that young left back williams and the midfield duo of Fred/Perreira then I'd fancy us to get a result but I reckon McTominay and Shaw will be back in making things difficult for us. I hope our superiority quality in the middle ends up being the difference but they have a few strong areas in the squad such as their keeper.

Don't think we should be overconfident in getting a result here. We're still papering over the cracks with our backline and DM options.

It'll be nice to finally have a manager who is hopefully going to pick a team based on our own plan rather than the other teams plan in a game v another top 6 team.

What's good about Mourinho is that he won't try some weird formation/put players out of position just because we're playing United. He knows exactly what will be needed to win.
